I have a LG290C. I'm tryingto find a way to get the pictures off it and onto my computer. I have the data cable, but cannot locate any software to do so. If anyone has any knowledge, it would be greatly appreciated!! I did try searching the forums already and cannot find anything.
View 6 RepliesI followed the instruction I've found in this place to be able to make file transfers (pictures in this case) from my LG290C Tracfone to my computer, using Bluesoleil. This works, indeed!But I have a question. After I installed bluesoleil in my pc, there is a new connection icon on the tray (like the icon with 2 small monitors, only that this one has a re X on it.Everything is working perfect...but I don't know if this new Icon with the red X means that something else may be wrong (I can't find anything wrong until this moment, except that, when windows start, an small and never seen before window opens, asking for a password. Then I hit ok without entering a password and then windows load normally.When I place the mouse cursor over the new icon on the tray, it reads "a network cable is unplugged".If I open this icon, a window with 3 different connections opens, showing this new "connection" as:
LOCAL AREA CONNECTION 3
NETWORK CABLE UNPLUGED, FIREWALLED.
BLUETOOTH PAN NETWORK ADAPTER
Is the above normal when you install a bluetooth adapter in your pc, or when you use the Bluesoleil software?
I just got the LG290C from Tracfone. I’m confused as to how the signal strength is displayed via the icon at the top. In the pictures and video I reviewed before purchasing it appears that the icon is represented as the typical 5 bar icon with the strength indicated by the number of green colored bars. Is this correct? On the phone I recieved the icon displays as 5 white bars, never any green filler. So I’m not sure if the display is faulty or there is no green and I am getting 5 bars reception indicated by white bars. Note so far the signal strength display has not varried from the 5 white bars icon in the areas traveled so far..

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use my Nokia phone camera a lot like taking pictures of furnitures, tools, appliances, and other items that I want to know the dimensions (measurements in inches or metric) of to study the pictured items at home. Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.

If i email or text a photo to someone they are all named photo.jpeg other iphones have a format like IMG00001 and IMG00002. When i try to send pictures to people they cant save the pictures since they are all named the same thing! (Just in case it matters i am using icloud with photo stream turned on)

For the first 2 or 3 weeks all pictures I took I could find them in Pictures. Now I either have to take the battery out in order to see them or I click on Pictures - Menu - Explore - Device Memory - home -user - pictures - and there they all are, but I can only view one picture at a time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an N8 and haven't upgraded it to Bella. I can't access to my pictures in my phone. If I go to the pictures gallery and select albums it says "837 captured items" but when I select the file it shows nothing, it says "no images or video clips"!!!.

but when I use File manager and enter to E: I can't open the images file, it says "unable to open, file not supported". I don't know what to do, I don't have the cable to connect my phone to my computer and even if I had it I cannot enter to Ovi suite because I have a Mac.
I think since I downloaded the new software (I'm not 100% sure if this was correct) the pictures aren't showing after a certain date, but then nothing only thumbnails with the picture of a hill and memory card icon in the bottom corner. I open my memory card and they're not there.

I picked mine up on Friday and noticed when I sent a picture to my friends through mms that it was only sending 32 kb size pictures. The actual photos are .91 mb's. My question is short of emailing the picture is there anyway to send the photo in full resolution over mms? The stock messaging allows for up to 2mb so why does it compress it so much. I have switched to sending pictures with handcent, but that is not a real practical solution.

However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.
