Aug 24, 2010I recently purchased a W995 and I am trying to turn off the shutter sounds for the camera. I know many people with SE phones and they all tell me the same thing. You can turn them off in the settings for the camera. On my W995 there is no option for the shutter sounds to be off there is only 4 sounds to choose from. I am sure that there should be a fifth option for off but its not there. How do i turn them off? I got 10 days cooling off period on my contract and this, along with a day of wifi problems, will mean the phone will be going back if there is no resolution for it.

The normal videos and pictures dont come out good either.Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions on how to clean the camera lens?Another issue is I had an Env2 think the vx9200 that had my ringtones and music on a memory card.I put that same card into the Dare and I can't set my sounds as a ringtone.The ones under 30 seconds I can but not the full songs like I could on the Evn. Is there a certain setting or specific way to use sounds for ringtones and alerts?

May 31, 2015When I open my camera app, sometimes the camera takes 1-2 seconds to initially focus and during that time it makes a loud buzzing sound. It sounds like a focus motor or something in the camera and the camera output on screen flutters while it focuses. Once it focuses, everything is normal and it doesn't make any more noise to refocus. This also doesn't happen every time I open the camera app, seems mostly random. I am already on my 2nd S6 since the first was defective for different reasons and I'm starting to get very disappointed with Samsung quality control.

Feb 22, 2010I downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.

It was a song I mmsed to a friend on her birthday, I have deleted the voice note and the mms, but each time I exit from the camera: "Happy birthday......" Its really annoying. This worked with many photos but the 600+ remaining will not import. iTunes says that there are no new photos to import which is strange because they are on my phone under Camera Roll. Sep 8, 2011i'm having problems with my xperia x8, where it doesn't has a sound from it's speaker. it happened when i'm connecting my phone to my headset and watch Internet using my phone. after awhile, i disconnected my headset and setting my alarm. i noticed that, when i selected a song from my sd card, it supposed to play that song when we choose and click to it, but, it doesn't produced any sound after that. i thought, my headset was still connected to the body, but, it's surely not. because of that event, until now, my phone isn't have any single sound, even when i play my mp3. i would like to have any responses from ya'll about this problem where i suspected, its my headset connector is still the culprit, not my speaker.
