LG G3 :: Photo Taken Don't Turn Out - No Thumbnail
Jun 29, 2015
I've had my G3 for a year or so now. All of a sudden I am having photo problems. Half of the photos I take don't turn out. In other words I snap the photo but it can't open out of the gallery, there is no thumbnail and an explanation mark where the photo should be.
My photo gallery is a mess. There are many duplicates and two thumbnail directories. I would like to wipe it out and reimport photos from my PC. How the photo directories are arranged on the Droid Razr. If viewed in a file browser it appears that all of the subdirectories branch off the DCIM directory. However I have the following with multiple copies of each photo.
DCIM/.thumbnails/.thumbnails
There is also a "pictures" directory. What photos go into thumbnails? Which photos go into "Pictures"? What are the .spmo files? If I merge all of the thumbnails into one directory, is there going to be a problem with the files called "thumbdata3"? What will be best file structure and how to best organize it.
I've turned on photo backup for onedrive on my new s6 edge, just like my galaxy s3 was. works like a charm. I understand it's a different operating system, but this one is chirping every time a photo uploads. i can't seem to turn it off seperately from the rest of the notifications.
All I really want to be notified of is email and text messages, both through the native application.
I put all my pictures into my harddrive when i dragged them back in my phone they went into the "download section" Which was fine with me but none of the pictures started to show Not on the thumbnail nor when i click onto it.
this is really inconvient for me as if have like 2000 pictures in the download section which i can't view anymore unless i use file manager(which doesn't work at all because i don't know which is which)
I've looked everywhere and can't seem how to turn this feature off. I have some personal photo's that I do not want on display when ever I whip my phone out in public. So how do you turn live tiles off for the "Photos" app.
I got my Galaxy S6 edge yesterday and I'm new to anything Samsung so how to turn off my camera sound when I take a photo? Also, I would like a generic sounding ringtone like ringing but all I have is the musical ones that annoy me.
My iphone 4s photo privacy settings went on the blink.Ā I cannot turn any of the displayed app on or off.Ā Also my recently added Instagram app isn't even displayed.
When I use the grid with the small Album Art to the left, and all the tracks/info grouped together, some album art does not show.Notice how some albums are not showing the thumbnail? And yes, before you ask, I have downloaded the album art for them. They show up everywhere else, except this list.
When I take a screenshot they all seem to look like the one in the thumbnail..... When you click on it it sometimes looks the same and sometimes it looks normal. How do I stop it? (I have also viewed them in different gallery apps and if not fuzzy the thumbnails are just black).
I transferred 2000+ songs on to my memory card and when i went to play them they play fine but the thumbnails are all the same. he phone seems to have picked a random thumbnail and applied it to every song. I've tried everything to change it and get an individual thumbnail for each song with no luck. I've tried Album Art Grabber but for some reason it picks out only one artist from my sd card and I can change that thumbnail but it then changes them to all being the same.
Every MMS that I receive is tiny like a thumbnail and is poor quality. I've read others have experienced this issue as well, but has anyone found a fix yet?
A few photos each day will suddenly slowly disappear. The photo's thumbnail remains intact, but the photo itself will just show a partial block of the image with the rest just gray, or odd lines. It began with photos on the internal storage, so I moved them to the external sd card, and it happens there as well. I've tried other gallery apps and sending them to the computer, but it appears they are permanently corrupted. (Other than the easy response of factory reset)
when recieving a incoming call the full size contact pic assigned to the contact displays how can i cahnge it to thubnail size while displaying the wallpaper at the same time?
Two files inside the DCIM/.thumbnails folder have reached 818 Megabytes !!!! o_O
Both start with ".thumbdata--" and are followed by a number, one is 348 MB and the other is 470 MB in size! My card has 16GB capacity I delete them but they keep coming back whenever I use the camera, the gallery or change the wallpaper.
I allready re-installed the ICS and reboot my phone so this is not a solution
those are my issues: 1) in some applications (such as photos,web...) suddenly quit app. with message internal error application "web or xxx" closed (i flashed my device with emms.
2)sometimes does not open conversation text --->> Internet link: video
3)when i shoot picture with my camera in gallery picture shows up many times(like 10-15 times)in thumbnail view, also in normal view, when i change picture to the next one its again same picture many times.
Is everyone else's gallery widget a tiny thumbnail picture? On my Note 4 and G2 there was a stock widget that had a photo frame that could be resized to whatever size I like.
I can't view some photos in my iPhone 4. When I just do the recover from the BackUp I can see the photos as a thumbnail for few second, then start to disappear. I tried to import them from Mac and PC, but a message said "An error occurred while importing. The item āIMG_3810.JPGā was not imported."
Can si the size and the name, but can't do anything. I tried to recover the backups with some programs, couldn“t fpund those photos. I think the photos could be damage.
On my previous Galaxy S, I recall having a contact icon thumbnail and his/her name at the top of a message composition/thread screen. It doesn't appear to figure on the S2. Can I reintroduce it somehow?
I have been using the Xperia mini/pro for a little over a month. Took lots of pictures - no problem. Then took some today, and somehow mysteriously they have disappeared...or at least turned into an icon looking like a sign of a broken mountain... How to retrieve these pictures, if possible?!
So I finally set up my photo stream. For about 24 hours it was working. Now when I take a picture it does not save to the photo stream album on my phone. It says that the Photo Stream is ON but it doesnt seem to be working.
