LG G3 :: How To Stop Phone From Restarting Constantly
Sep 3, 2015
Right, so the other day my G3 started to keep rebooting randomly and gradually got worse throughout the day but would turn on and be usable for an amount of time.
I have tried the following:
Booting into safe mode
Having it plugged into the wall charger
Hard Reset
Flashing the firmware using LG Flash Tool
Nothing has fixed the issue and unfortunately it is out of warranty. Currently it will load up but straight away reboot.
I have a new LG G4 phone from Android, and it's not even 6 months old, but it keeps restarting. The LG logo will come up, then the screen will go black, and then the LG logo will appear back up. It's been doing this for about 5 hours now, and I've tried resetting it back to the factory settings, but it goes right back to rebooting on it's own.
So I've had lollipop since the Dev preview was released and I had less bugs on the preview than the final release. After side loading lollipop my phone randomly restarts itself and goes into loop. It gets to the point that when I try to get into recovery mode I can't make it to the restart boot loader screen without my phone constantly restarting.
Eventually it stops after a few minutes or up to a few hours. When this cycle occurs and I plug it into the charger the cycle gets even worse. My phone was unusable for over 5 hours yesterday. I've tried restoring it but no luck. What do I do !?
I decided to update my samsung s6 after the update thing had reminded me three times. But it won't stop going from the samsung screen, to the AT&T scree, to the optimizing apps screen, and loading maybe 12/65 apps, and then going black, and then back to the samsung screen. I don't know what to do, because it's been doing this over and over again for more than 5 minutes.
I just got an e63 and for the most part, it's a great phone and I love it. However, when I am at home.. it constantly freezes while I compose a text and then restarts. That, or it just restarts over and over while I am not even touching it.I keep trying to hard reset it.. so I type in that code and it says "requesting..." and then says "request not complete".It's weird because the ONLY time it acts this way.. is when I'm at home.. any other place, it's perfectly fine. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
I have a Torch 9810 with the OS 7. Outside of the apps that were preinstalled with the phone, the only apps I have added are gmail and yahoo mail. I have 201.9 MB of free space in app storage, 6.2GB free in total media storage, and 3.2 gb free on my media card.
The device restarts on its own. Started off gradually, maybe once a day. And it would do it then, after sitting idle for a while and I pick it up, sliding out the keyboard would trigger a reboot. Then it would do that 2-3 times a day. I was thinking it had a defect in the slide out qwerty. Now it does it more frequently and has started doing it in the middle of calls. It has rebooted 3 times already this morning within an hour. One time without me even touching it, I just happen to see the screen come back on as it was booting up.
i have my bold for about 3-4 days now and for some reason it keeps restarting on me, and its at the most random times, when i load google maps, stream a Internet video, or pandora, it even did it just now when i plugged it into the charger. my carrier is t-mobile and im using the default os, ive considered upgrading it, and if i need to return it i can just down grade right? or should i just take it back and exchange it for another? it also has a slightly creaky trackpad but it doesnt bother me at all, so i wouldnt mind taking back, just worried about getting an even more fucked up one.
I have a N8 well kept, always updated, never flashed, properly soft formatted before updating to belle. I thought that belle would have been fantastic. It really is not.Consider that as I type this text from my n8, the browser has freezed twice, the phone has rebooted once. And I only have apps compatible with belle on my phone. It took 2 minutes to switch from Italian language to English!
My mobile: N96 (SW 30.033, RM-247, Nokia China,Purchased before 15 month, Riyadh Saudi Arabia)before two days I switch off my mobile and restart it but the white screen come then nokia screen coming but the phone stop and after one minute it restart itself again and same things then restart, I try to remove the battery and wait half hour and start the phone but same problem.
So after many trials I make 4-key phone memory format so the phone restart and I was too much happy but I lost the contacts as it is stored in the phone memory in addition to all my exchange email and nokia email, so I was having back up so I connect it to PC Suit and I restore the contacts from my nokia back but after finishing it was asking for restart and the crises happened again and same previous, stopping at nokia screen then restart restart restart. So again I make phone memory and I using synchronization between my mobile and outlook to return my contacts and I don't know what will happened if I restart my phone.
I don't know what to do as my phone warranty is one year and nokia care will not accept to check it and I don't think that there is qualified shop can repair such this type of problems.IM too much disappointed from nokia and I feel that these type of mobiles designed to work for one year only and if you ask help from nokia care after one year they will not accept.
my 9360 just bought 2 days already start restarting ownself . may i know is there any solution for me to stop that ?i cant using my phone now, until monday only can send to service center.
my bold 9780 on telus has been freezing, and shutting down and everytime it starts back up it does the same thing and shuts down, and sometimes it doesn't even restart, the red LED light blinks 5 times on the black screen. I seriously love this phone but i hate how much trouble its been giving me. And when it is on it either says sim card error, SOS or searching for networks randomly.
Ever since upgrading to the latest software 7.1.0 Bundle 1149, my Bold 9900 is consonantly rebooting. Usually after a phone call, it decides to reboot. So annoying. Its also extremely slow and the battery life is awful. Its only about 6 months old and constant problems.
I have an lg g3 and any app i try to download from google playstore it shows downloading but really does. I have tried multiple apps i tried clearing my cache restarting my phone. Nothing seems to work.
I just downloaded a nice weather app on my iPhone 4s but this app keeps sending an alert to rate it almost each time I open it.I already rated it once but it keeps alerting me. Can I turn this off in notifications?
During my use of my iPhone, a box pops up intermittently asking for my voicemail password. It then says "incorrect password." It IS the correct password. What can I do to stop this?
First thing is I am very new to this smartphone thing so I may just be being think. But my Nokia 5230 constantly connects online of its own accord, I go to settings, then connection manager and switch it off but sure enough it connects again without me having done anything.Any idea how I stop this as it is costing me money that I can ill afford.
When my phone is in 4G or on WiFi the upload and download arrows are constantly lit up making it seem like the phone is moving data non stop. This is killing my battery life.
Basically my problem is in the title, my phone is continuously pressing 'J' and I cannot stop it, even when the slide is closed and often when they keys are locked. I have NOT dropped the phone or anything like that, I go out of my way to keep it safe and this problem emerged on Thursday when I recieved a message asking if I wanted to auto update.
I said yes, it apparently had installed the update but then hours later this problem starts so I look online the next day and thought i'd try and manually update the firmware, which told me I did not have the latest firmware.. So I installed it, the problem remained. I look around and see that a lot of people have resolved issues with a hard reset, I have also tried this and it has not fixed my problem.
When i am trying to make a call to my another phone the dialer keeps on looping and does not disconnect, and when i call someone else as soon as i take the phone near to my ears the phone restarts.
My phone keeps restarting it's self on its own I've tried anti virus apps but it still doesn't work, and it is not the battery that is making my phone turn off. My phone is a LG G3 by the way.
My friend broke its os and gave it to me because he didn't need it, i put insertcoin on it and rooted it. Every like 1-3 seconds it reboots after being shut off, it reboots then goes to the lock screen and i can use the phone for about a second then it restarts. Im thinking it may be an app/apk i installed but i don't know, it was like this before i restarted it. and its happened 4 times before, 3 of which i just reinstalled the os and wiped the phone and the last time it fixed its self. this time its been going on for 30min and it wont seem to fix itself.
