Unfortunately I lost my LG G3 and the thing I need the most is my Quickmemo notes I had. They are stored somewhere on the cloud? I do remember seeing some sync settings but now I can't remember and wanted to retrieve them asap.

What happened is my x10 stopped charging so I did a full backup, using backup and restore, so I had all the information saved. my service provider, when they called to replace the unit, advised me that they no longer supported the x10 and the handsets they could offer me were Blackberry!So although I do have an Android phone now (as well as the Blackberry) it's not an x10, or indeed a Sony Ericsson.Is there any way to get the messages, short of finding someone with a pre 2.3 x10 (as I believe backup and restore doesn't work on 2.3) who will let me restore them to retrieve them that way?

i'm trying to get my iphone synched with my home computer. I had many contacts entered directly on the iphone and many more synched from my work computer. I retired and now need to synch both. I got the work contacts into my home outlook and synched them into the phone but in doing this I lost the contacts that had been entered directly. Now I need to get the lost contacts from the backup and into my outlook. before the upload of the work contacts i had synched with itunes which apparently makes a backup. i have subsequently synched with itunes. how do i find and retrieve the backup before the upload?

My father just passed away a few days ago and I wanted to keep the conversations we had over text messages, but it was over 30 days ago and it just deleted a conversation we had on September 13th. I've been trying all day to see if there is a way to retrieve the text messages, but I can't find a way. I will do ANYTHING as these are memories I will only be able to hold onto. Is there a way to retrieve the text messages by sending the device to RIM for them to retrieve or anything?

I backed up my iphone 4 to itunes (not icloud) yesterday, and today i went to the apple store to see if they could fix a broken lock button. They issued me a new phone, and assured me that i woult be able to retrieve my camera roll photos after restoring my phone from backup. Everything restored to my phone EXCEPT the photos. My friend dropped my handbag into the sea a week ago.My blackberry curve got wet but not soaked. Ive dried it out as best I can, but it still wont switch on.I havent backed it up in over 4 months! I reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?
I did a normal backup and just before it finished, a message came up saying the DM could not backup one Theme. I clicked OK and then it comes up with another message and it says Backup completed ... click OK .So is it just one theme that's odd and not being backed up? (which I don't mind) With (hopefully) the rest of my stuff backed up as usual.

My question is for those who have recommended a fresh install rather than a restore from backup. Are you referring only to the "Apps and Settings" backup and not the "text messages" backup?
Trying to do a backup in anticipation of iOS 4 and the backup process still is taking a long time in 9.2.Also, what steps can be taken to increase the speed of the backup? How would you remove items like photos, music, videos and then be able to easily put them back on the iPhone?

I have lost ~20 pictures I took during my family's 4th of July event this weekend. It was the first time they have met my 17 month old daughter. Normally I wouldn't sweat loosing pictures, but these are very important to me.It restored every picture up until the backup I did before I left Sunday morning.
