I am a new android user and still getting to know it. I recently noticed that my QuickRemote app was gone (LGs original) and how to get it back. I don't want to download any of the play stores apps as i want the LGs original one.
View 5 RepliesI'm brand new to Android. I came to the V10 from BlackBerry. I just tried the Quick Remote that I saw on my phone. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to work because my TV is an RCA....not one of the very common brands. It took a little while to set it up but it works! I amazed my kids by controlling the TV from my phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've just enabled the remote phone locking feature on my S60 mobile device; that is the message text to be sent via SMS to lock the phone and the security code (default 12345).I've sent several times from another mobile phone the security text message via SMS keeping in mind that it is case sensitive. Unfortunately when I receive the lock SMS on my S60 device it does not work. The message arrives as a normal SMS; it is possible to read its content as in case of normal short text messages.What could be the problem? Can you help me to figure it out?

Well, strangely when I walk into his room with the phone in my pocket or in my hand, the TV turns on? I believe it's when it is sending data back and forth, b/c it only seems to happen then. It only turns on that TV, the others in the house don't respond at all. My 4yr old gets a kick out of it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have discovered that post lollipop software update (not to android 5 but the update to it) the start up chime is now linked to the media volume and not the system volume.
This means that if I'm listening to music or watching a movie and leave the media volume up, the chime will play - incredibly annoying considering the system is on silent.
there such a device for Nokia phones? I would like a little remote (preferably something that can connect to my steering wheel) so that I can change tracks on my phone via bluetooth. is there such an animal? I don't need anything fancy, as I already have blueooth telefony integration with my car -- I just want to change audio tracks easily.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Z3+ yesterday and when starting a first charge (30mins as advised in the setup guide) the battery began at 32% charge, i left it for 30 mins and it only got to 38%. It took a good 1hour + for a full 100% charge.
I've now recharged again today and its taken 3hours for a full 100% charge from 0%, is this correct?? I have read it can take 45mins for a full charge.
Long story short, the person at the Verizon store had to backup and factory reset my phone. I lost all my Quick Memos. She did not inform me that they wouldn't be backed up. Is there a way to recover them?

View 4 Replies View RelatedAround a week ago I used a friends 'selfie stick'. The same day I was walking around Windsor and noted that the phone had powered down. I tried pressing the power key, but the phone did not turn on. I took the battery out, replaced it and then the phone came back on.
The problem now seems to reoccur when I have put my phone in my back pocket and either walk some distance, or keep it in my back pocket in the car (for some reason).
I discovered over the weekend that the speaker on my iphone is broken and I want to replace it with a new phone. (This includes no audio notifications for phone, messages or emails). My phone has been JB for over a month, and, as part of the process for determining if the JB was the cause of my speaker not working, I reverted my phone back to a pre-JB state on 4.0.1 (with a lot of assistance from people on this board!). I have 4.0.1 firmware and Cydia has my SHSH info.
Here is the question: can I back-rev a 4.0.2 phone to 4.0.1 given the above information (using Tinyumbrella etc) or must I wait for the 4.1 JB?
I tried rebooting 3 times and still did not come back. I did not install or uninstall anything. I did not even use my phone today except to answer a call. When I went to use it all my contacts and favorites were gone
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC One M7 and it was working fine lately, all of yesterday and this afternoon then i tried to hook it up to an AUX cord in the car and it was still working then when i too it off and laid it down i tried to turn on the screen and it would't come on at all but where the speakers are located as well as where the blinking light shows for notifications on the phone is blinking green like i have notifications and i know i do but i cant turn it on i tried holding down the power button nothing happens, i tried putting it on the charger but it wont charge the green light just keeps blinking. Last time my phone cut off it was because the battery was drained so i charged it and it worked perfectly fine but this time i dont know whats wrong because my battery was atleast on 60-70%
