I have very poor reception at my school. I usually don't look at my phone for 4-5 hours into the day...is there a program that is available that can give an email if I miss a call or sms etc...? I carry my iPad with me and can view emails ...but if i have my phone the lack of reception kills my battery in an hour....
upgraded from barrage to bionic :) With barrage you could set missed call or text alerts via sound settings>alert sounds. We can't find this on Bionic.
I am new to Blackberry and I have some questions about my 9700. I have tried looking to see if this has been posted but I didn’t see anything. I recently installed the .602 OS and did the battery pull and all that hoping it would fix the problem but it hasn’t. The problem is when I miss a phone call and receive a voice mail. I do have the visual voice mail set up and to my knowledge that works fine. The visual voice mail alert popup shows up first and when I go to play the VM, it starts playing and then the missed call alert popup shows up on top of VM. I can either open the missed call to view it or dismiss it. If I open it, I can’t do anything to the VW since it is still going or not going anymore in background and if I dismiss the missed call, I have to go back a view the missed call in the call log to get the icon to go away. Also, once everything is done, my SMS & MMS folder opens up for no reason that I am aware of. Is this normal for everyone’s phone? If not, do I have a setting wrong that I am not aware of? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I am using Xperia X10iFirmware 2.1 - Update 1 Base Band Version 2.1.54 Kernel 2.6.29. Whenever i get a missed call, i do have the notifications but i am unable to see the name or the number. It will show the last dialed or the received calls. It is frustrating and i have sent a mail to the support but heard no response from them. I am not sure if anybody else is having this problem or not but for sure i am facing this problem.
I have just bought an X3-02 and am missing so many text messages, not returning missed calls etc. How can I programme this *** phone so that the phone rings every x minutes when I receive a text or a missed call? I'm often in meetings at work and unless I have my phone under my nose I don't see/hear a missed message. I've tried to download "remind me" from the Ovi store, but of course it's not compatible with my phone.
iPhone 4 (iOS 7.1) -- Found 4 Face time calls listed as missed, but I never received any audible alert that a call was attempted When I discovered the missed calls, had my husband call me on Face Time and it rang through properly. The 4 missed calls were all from my daughter, who is listed in my contacts; all came in one after the other (not at different times).
My 920I Galaxy S6 has stopped receiving calls, either if I am using the phone or it is locked I won't receive any call, I have to restart my phone to get the messages of missed calls and call them back. I tried many different modems, bootloader, roms and firmwares and nothing has worked. Also, I tried both on WIFI and 3G/4G and it doesn't work.
If you miss a call or SMS on the C5 then there is no way to tell.
You cannot see the indicator on the screen saver (power saver) display because it is so unbelievably dark (what is the point of that ?!). Also, no flashing buttons/lights to indicate a missed call message.
My previous phone (6300) used to flash its side light for over an hour so that you knew there was something to check. The battey life for this phone is quite impressive - but unfortunately this seems to be at the expense of the usability of the phone.
I have a few missed calls and can never know the number from who it's coming from, only that it's unknown and the time when I was called. I know normal cellphones know and if I answer an unknown call, that the number is stored in the phone. How can I know the phone numbers of the calls I missed?
Or maybe, what do I do so that the future call numbers are registered so that I can call them back?
When I have a missed call from anyone in my contact list; the missed call alert don't show the name stored in my contacts list, only show the phone number?I have an iPhone 4s with iOS 5.1.
I was recieved a missed call from a number which wasn't in my contact book. I forgot to save the number to my phone so i was wondering whether i can go back further into my missed calls. In my 'recent' section, i can go back to 29/05 but i need to go back to 22/05.
The notification icons for missed calls and SMS messages remains highlighted on the 'slide to open' screen. The number of messages and missed calls increase each day. My partners N900 also receives the icons, but as soon as she enters the phone or the messages, the icons dissappear. We both have the latest software. Is there anyway we can adjust the notifications?
I have my new phone nokia 3730 since 2 days. But if I miss a call, after 30s, the screen goes black, and I have no alert to inform me. I have to push on a button to see if I have missed a call (of if I have received a SMS).Have you a solution (a configuration?) It is very annoying.
Today and yesterday, my log said I had missed calls from my wife's number. Both times, she hadn't called. She was alone in the apartment both days and her phone was with her. I checked her call log (N95 8GB) and there were no calls made. I'm running 54.005 and Adv Communication Manager, whitelist only Don't know if this is relevant... sometimes my phone stops recognizing numbers that are in Contacts. It's done that with my wife's and daughter's numbers, then it went back to recognizing them with no action from me.
I have the Blackberry Bold on the Vodafone UK network.Last week once it became available , I updated to the new 5.0.0.411 S/ware.On the whole I have had no problems , however I have noticed that my battery life is most definitely not as good as before the update. The one thing I have noticed is that my Missed Calls Log has vanished , & I just can't seem to get it back.
On the old s/ware , if I couldn't take a call I just had to then press the green button & there would automatically be a list of that , & all other missed calls.
Now when someone calls & I choose not to take it , if I then press close , however then press the green key to see the log , the missed call log is not there. All that's displayed is the actual Call Log. I agree that the number that called me is there with the missed call symbol next to it , however this is in the complete call log.
How van I retrieve this Missed Call Log only? In my line of work , it is certainly possible that I will legitimately miss calls during the course of the day. It will become very annoying if I can now not view them at a glance.
I have a bb curve 8530 and since adding facebook and twitter and bbm, i have lost my games and email icon. When i get missed calls they get saved somewhere on my phone that i cant access anymore. I remember being able to delete missed calls from the email icon but i cant do that anymore. I have 6 envelopes saying i have 6 missed calls but i cant get rid of them. i dont have to reset my phone. i have tried everything and nothing has worked.
I'm not sure why, but some missed calls are not going to the call log. I dismissed the missed calls from the notification, and then went to check it in in the call log and it wasn't there.
Are there any settings I need to change to see all missed calls?
It looks like ever since using the Nexus 5 I've been getting a bunch of missed calls without any sort of notice (i.e. no ringing, and no history of the call). The only way I find out is by getting a voicemail notification shortly after.
On my iPhone, I accidentally cleared my missed calls. How do I restore or recover them? I need a number that is in there. And since it was a missed call, Verizon doesn't have it.
Today I got 2 missed calls on my Nokia C6 but when I clicked it to view the number from where the missed call came, it was not present in my missed calls list. I could not find out the number.
after all this time I finally have a small issue. All of a sudden my phone will not log my missed calls. No issues with out going calls. Just the incoming
