Feb 16, 2010I don't know why apple decided that you didn't need access to your call log while on a phone call. When I'm on the phone with someone I like to send emails and texts to others and being able to get to the call log or favorites list is the quick way to get access to the people I talk to the most. As of now I have to go to the contacts list which takes longer and inconvient. Also if someone calls while I'm on the phone if I don't check the caller ID right then to see who is calling I will miss the person and I won't know who called until I get off the phone.

May 22, 2013So I was having a bad battery drain issue after I got my One. Decided to relock and flash stock RUU.
80% lost in 14.5 hours with only half an hour of screen time. Funny thing is, the HTC battery stats don't seem to think the phone was awake much. My battery apps tell a different story - says it was kept awake for 8 hours, with the kernel to blame.
Not an app doing it. Things were fixed initially after the reflash, and then went back to their old ways yesterday.

Within two hours of it being up and operational my phone has froze up on me and is making noises as it's connecting to the dock when it's not near it. I called Verizon and they told me to do a master reset of my phone. After explaining to them several times I have done this twice already they said that there was nothing that they could do for me except send me another phone yet again.

ALL of our phones were in "Do Not Disturb" mode with the only exclusion list being a couple family members' phone numbers. There is no option to block system update alerts in the middle of the night. There is no slider to select/deselect that. It seems like this would be a pretty basic option.

Jul 27, 2010I have a belt case (made by Insmat), that work very well with my Nokia 3120 classic and Nokia 1600, but my 3 phone N5230 seem not to like this beltacase because when I put th phone in it it comes very hot and it takes all the power from the battery in only few hours.
The phone goes so hot that it it almost inpossible to keep it on my hands.The belt case has a steel plate and magnetised plate to keep it closed. Those plates are sized about 1" * 2.5"...So maybe the phone cannot reach the net because the antenna is behind those plates?

Apr 15, 2015As a fairly new X2 owner (I just switched from an X1 a few weeks ago), one thing that really bugs me is that when I'm on a call that I originate, the phone does not remain on the "call in progress" screen. Instead it goes back to the home screen and if I want to access any "call in progress" options, I have to pull down the notification shade.
Is there any way to change this? Do I have any options?

Jun 3, 2012Strange thing today - I was playng golf and trying to run a golf GPS app that required 3G. The app wasn't working. I noticed that, instead of the 3G icon in the notification bar, there was only a little circle. I know what that means - I am not getting a strong enough 3G signal. I guess that's why the golf GPS app wasn't working. That's not what was strange . . .
What was strange was, I couldn't make any phone calls with my iPhone. I don't think there is any relationship between the strength of my 3G Internet service connection, and the ability of the phone to make a phone call. As I recall, the ascending bars (which indicate strength of phone signal, as I understand it) were OK.
