I just updated the software on my iphone 4 and prior to updating I could double click and start the camera without logging in, now I can't. How do I fix?

After working properly for two weeks, my VM-605 is acting weird. Every call begins with "the voice" saying CALL ENDED, and then it proceeds to accept or place the call. Ending a call produces a simple beep. It no longer answers calls with a click of the panel, or re-dials with a double click. What's wrong?

View 14 Replies View RelatedOk, so now our options for double clicking the home button are Home, Search, Favorites, Camera, iPod, and now multitasking??? 6 options? And if we DON'T want to use double click to go to multitasking what happens... we just lose multitasking all together? Many people have gotten used to and like being able to use the double click for our favorites or for the camera... and now we need to ditch that if we want to use the most desired feature of 4.0??? really? I mean, REALLY? It just seems like a pretty clunky afterthought to throw another double click option at us. Surely apple could have implemented something nicer.
Personally I think for multitasking they should use some sort of 3 finger gesture. Either a 3 finger swipe up (and keep the dock-like implementation apple chose) or a 3 finger zoom out (which would then zoom out to showing all active apps at once. imagine the tabs view in mobile safari.Additionally I think apple should add a dedicated camera button. That would solve the other double home button issue and this would make the iphone much more usable as a camera.
Has anybody got this to work on iOS 4 GM? I've tried and it doesn't work. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.This apparently was the replacement to the old double click on the home button for accessing whatever you specified. (Favorites, iPod, Camera, Etc)

Sometimes if i hit the screen hard it will start working which suspects me to beleive theres dirt under or around the screen itself?But if i remove the battery the screen then starts to work, which leads me to beleive its the software.
What is it? is it common? how can i fix it its driving me insane.
I noticed recently that my end key will click 5 times when i press it down, its the only part of the screen that does it, but i do notice that the bottom buttons will double click everynow and then and it pisses me off. but the end key does it 5 times. Anyone have a clue what it could be? i was happy with the phone at first but now im kind of mad that i got it, the one thing i like about the phone is he clicking screen, it makes it to where i dont press as many as i do with other touch screens.

I start the camera and I have black screen, the camera app crashes and I go back to home screen with unable to start the camera. View 1 Replies View RelatedCurrently, when I want to take a picture with my phone and I touch to open the camera app, the screen would turn black, with no image. The only thing that would show is the camera button and the option to go into the camera settings. There's not much within camera settings -- either switch the main or front camera and the photo capture mode (scene, night, HDR, etc.), restore to default, etc.
If I t back out of the camera app and go to the home screen and try to get back into the camera app, it would pause for a bit (about 5 seconds) before popping up the imageless (black) screen. Then, a message would pop up saying, "Sorry! Camera is not responding. Would you like to send an error report to HTC?" I would be given the option to "Don't send; Wait; Send Report". If I go back to the home screen a third time and then try to open the camera app again, it would say "unable to start camera".
i updated to the new os and when i try to start my camera it says unable to start camera try closing other applications and try again i downgraded and then the same thing so i wiped it and then updated it again and the same thing happens dunno think its busted anybody have a idea what it is i even deleted all applications i downloaded and no dice.

For weeks I haven't had a single option, and all of a sudden multiple times in 2 days I have this issue:While my phone is in my pocket, I pull it out, and unlock the screen. The screen is hard, but not unclickable. So when I click on messages or anything else it opens it and closes it, because it double clicks. Usually the bottom keys click but don't function. I have to lock the screen and turn it back on after a few seconds or a minute later for it to function. The double clicking and it closes the app is really annoying. It only happens when it's in my pants.
I think what happens is that since the screen is TOWARDS my leg, and my leg may hit the bottom buttons, it presses it or something like that. And after a few times of that happening unexpectedly the screen does something. I don't know. Any ideas? Could this be an OS issue? I doubt it's a hardware since it ONLY happens with my jeans and in my pocket.
When I double tap the home key, then touch the camera access icon, the screen jumps up a little, revealing about half of the camera shutter icon then closes back up on itself.
I just updated to 5.1 and this is a feature I used to use on 5.0.1 often. Seems like it is broken...not happy.

I buy the blackberry bold 9900 mobile and after 1 month when i use the camera it showing the error message could not start the camera close other application and try opening the camera again i remove the battery from the mobile and restart so many time and i not able to capture the picture . and also update the software.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to to be able to double tap to open camera and now it doesn't do anything at all. My power button to lock option in security is off. I'm on stock with elemental x kernel, with xposed. Idk if I accidentally enabled an option or disabled something in ex elemental kernel manager or limited a service in amplify that I shouldn't have.
And yes the double tap for camera is enabled in my settings and I cleared defaults too for the stock camera but nothing....
The phone vibrates pretty strong when you double tap to Power to launch the camera. I don't see any option in settings to adjust vibration Intensity. Just wish I could turn off the vibration.
