IPhone :: Why A Video File Is Able To Transfer To IPad 2 But Not 4
May 13, 2012There is a video file (MP4. H.264,AAC) which is normally support by my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 both devices. However when I sync it with my iPad, there is no problem with it at all. The video could play on iPad normally but when i sync the same file with my iPhone on the same laptop and same iTunes database, it is not working! And iTunes pop up a notification thats tell me "the file format is not support for yout iPhone".
It is the matter because of the different iOS version? My iPad 2 is operating iOS 5.1.1 and my iPhone 4 is operating under iOS 4.3.3.

I shot video with an app named Video Camera Pro - it puts the files in some hidden forder , not in camera roll.
The app says that the way to upload the files is by wi-fi and they provide a link to download a server software but its broken.

Jul 2, 2012i have a video that i originally took using my iphone but then transfered to my pc. i want to put it back onto my iphone in the photo app (not video app) so i can share it straight from my phone.
since one of the iphone updates enabled the volume button as a camera shutter button and i was shooting the video one handed, i held the camera with the volume buttons on top. unfortunatly, the phone still saves it in such a way that only the iphone and itunes recognize the proper orientation intended and when it's opened with any other device or program, it automatically makes the part of the video that's against the smooth side of the phone always the top side (regardless of if that makes the video sideways or upside down). i was able to get the video back onto my phone as a "video" where it shows up in the video app as a "movie" and there are no options to share via text, email, Internet (which were options when the video was still in the photo app). i need to be able to share the video with family

I have installed the most current driver for the G4 and tried running Android File Transfer, where it will not recognize my device. I've tried changing the type of USB connection back and forth, but I had no luck with that. Is there any way of being able to manage my files on my G4 with my Mac through a USB connection? I know AirDroid is an option of transferring files without a USB cord, but I'd prefer to use a USB cord. I'm running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2.
