If want to sync selected albums to my iPhone, in the list of albums in the "sync Music" panel, the album name is prefixed by artist name (or album artist, if that is not blank), and sorted in that order, not by the actual album name. Very annpoying, as there is a separate list of selection by artist. How can I fix this? I really don't want to go through my entire library and put something like a space in the "album artisrts" field, which is the only way I can see of looking at that list in true album name order (yet on the iphone itself, it appears correctly).
I can't seem to get my iphone 4s to sync correctly with itunes. I want to sync only certain songs and I have checked the 'sync only checked songs' option. All it seems to be allowing me to do is sych either entire library or cerain albums, artists and genres (ie not songs). I recently upgraded to iphone 4s, didnt' have this problem with previous iphone.
I have never had any issues syncing my photo albums to my iPhone from iTunes until the latest iTunes update. As soon as the iTunes update (10.6.3) was completed, I plugged in my iPhone (5.1.1) and got an error 1140 message (I tried several times, including after restarting my computer, with the same message appearing every time). I later realized that in the "photos" tab in iTunes, "all photos and albums..." was checked (prior to the update, I had selected several albums as I do not have enough space on my phone for all of my pictures). However, I cannot select the "selected albums, events, and faces..." as it is greyed out.
Every time I sync my iPhone 4 it goes through the steps and says "Cancelling Sync" and a couple of the new albums I have recently downloaded will not go on to my iPhone. Although with my shuffle all these songs will go on with no problem. Do I need to restore my phone? When I put music on my phone I do it manually also by having the music checked on and off on my iTunes.
I created a photo album in iPhoto, and set up iTunes so that selected albums i.e. the one I just made sync with my iPhone. When I sync, it says in iTunes that the album is on the phone, but it's not. What's gone wrong? I seem to remember this happening before, but I can't remember how I fixed it.
I have 958 photos on my N8 taken from a trip to Europe. These photos are all organised into albums and tagged depending on which country they were taken in. The problem now is when I sync them to my computer Ovi Suite ignores the Albums and the Tags and groups them all together.how I can sync the photos so they remain in the Albums?Surely there is a way to do this otherwise what is the point of being able to sort into albums on the phone if when you copy them to PC they all get mergedI can't now go through 958 photos trying to remember where each one was taken.Unfortuantely the N8 also only groups the photos by the month they were taken (All were taken in the same month) copying them without ovi suite is also problematic.
I am a brand new iphone4s user. I have 2 email accounts (yahoo and work ). When emails are sent to me they do not appear on my phone until I select the account and then it searches and they appear. But they are usualy emails that were sent hours before.How can I be notified right when they come in?
I keep running out of space on my iphone 5 because there is a bunch of video content on there that I can't get rid of. I imported these videos into iPhoto sometime ago, however I think I probably didn't select to delete them once imported at the time. I've deleted all of the images and vids from the camera roll section however, but the videos are still on the phone under "Videos" where I can view them and select them, but it gives no option to delete them.Â
Any work around that doesn't involve restoring the device.Â
I have imported photos from my Mac (via iTunes) into my iPhone. They are residing in Photo Library. I would like to delete some of those photos but I'm not able to perform that task. I don't see the little trash can anywhere. No problem deleting from Photo Stream though.
I have an Acura ZDX and was able to pair my 3G / iOS3 both via BT and USB successfully. Now with my iP4 I can pair and use my iP4 as an iPod via BT, using the iP4 to change songs; under USB it seems to connect and load the data and songs, but it will not play a selected song using the Acura NAV monitor to select. Anyone else who has an Acura have this issue? Anyone else having similar computability issues with their car?
I can send pictures and videos to most people. Recently I continue to get a red not delivered whenever I send pictures or video to 2 other iMessage users. I can send them text messages, just not photos or videos and only to the two other people. Do you think the problem is with my phone or theirs?
I have a first generation iphone where I had uploaded photo albums from my macbook, later my macbook crashed, and I lost all of the photos. The only copy I have of these photos is on my old iphone. I was able to import the camera roll, but the albums I put on the phone aren't available for import to iphoto or image capture. I tried downloading iExplorer but it could not view them either.

When I use the grid with the small Album Art to the left, and all the tracks/info grouped together, some album art does not show.Notice how some albums are not showing the thumbnail? And yes, before you ask, I have downloaded the album art for them.They show up everywhere else, except this list.
I love the concept of the jailbreak. I want to do it but really the only major item I need is the ability to create photo albums ON the iphone. That's my only major want. Everything else I can live without so if it's not there via Jailbreak...I won't do it. I searched the forums and the Cydia store but didn't see anything.
I used to listen to an album before falling asleep and after finishing the last song the player stopped. Now, it doesn't stop and plays the same album around and around. There is no usual button to use. I think that that happened after updating my iOS.
