I have imported photos from my Mac (via iTunes) into my iPhone. They are residing in Photo Library. I would like to delete some of those photos but I'm not able to perform that task. I don't see the little trash can anywhere. No problem deleting from Photo Stream though.

I imported some photos/videos from my iPhone onto my iPhoto library. I still have those photos/videos saved on my iPhone but now I want to delete them. If I do, will they still be saved in iPhoto? I'm planning on importing the rest of my photos/videos as well and then deleting them all off my iPhone after (it's taking up a lot of space on my phone). it deletes all my photos. I have since then began to import my photos to my Computer.However, after restoring again, i realized when I sync my photos to my iPhone they are in a seperate folder called Photo Library? Why? I don't like how I can't just sync the camera roll to the PC. (E.G When I delete a photo from my phone and then sync it up to the PC it would just delete the photo from the comp, and if I add a photo it would add the photo to my specific folder, therefore keeping a synchronicity) Is there absolutely anyway to fix this, i dislike having the seperate folders, thing is.. I can't even add the photo library to the camera roll. I understand the camera roll is for photos taken by the camera, however I add many wallpapers through apps, why can't I add my photos like that to the camera roll and delete the unnecessary folder?

I imported these videos into iPhoto sometime ago, however I think I probably didn't select to delete them once imported at the time. I've deleted all of the images and vids from the camera roll section however, but the videos are still on the phone under "Videos" where I can view them and select them, but it gives no option to delete them.Â
Any work around that doesn't involve restoring the device.Â

Having some issues accessing or even finding the photos stored on my device. iPhone 4S iOS 5.1 Image Capture only sees the "Camera Roll" (500 or so pictures in there) but I can't access anything else. Here's how my Photo Library is structured on my device:

Old Camera (741)
Old Library (1,644)
I can't access the last three using Image Capture, iPhoto - can't even find any of these photos via 3rd party file browser utilites. I've also mounted the iPhone to disk but can't find photos anywhere. (I've tried showing/hiding hidden files in OS X - still nothing)

6 months ago i synced my photos (950 of them) to my laptop. But my laptop crashed and i needed to restore it default, so what i did was i copied all synced photos back to my iphone to act as a temporary storage of my photos. but now im about to sell my iphone 4 and i need to transfer my photos back to my laptop i cant seem to do it!!! and im here and ive spent a good 5 hours researching and downloading third party apps just to do that to no success. Im getting frustrated as this should be a walk in the park but its complicated as **** with this phone. Im starting to hate this phone now as this shoud be very easy (just a copy paste) job for older phones with memory cards. ive used iExplore but it doesnt work it just shows the camera roll pictures which consists of recent ones but not the photo library ones..
