IPhone :: Stuck On Loading Circle, How To Unfreeze
Apr 1, 2012
My iPhone 4 is stuck on the loading circle, and my power button is broken. How can I restart my iPhone or do something that will get it off this screen?
PS- apple will not replace my phone, and getting it repaired is not an option. I need a way to get it off this loading screen.

Having problems with the Youtube app? It just keeps giving me the loading circle.
I have tried clearing the cache, restored back to factory version, restarting phone - nothing.

I just bought a new 5230. I had the usual " green circle" when opening an app. For example, Ovi maps. I have formatted my Memory card and updated my phone and now there is just an ugly red "ball" with grey background instead of the nice green loading animation. No big problem but it is just ugly.

I have a problem with my iPhone 5s (version 7.1.2)..i was about to restore the iPhone, but iTunes kept telling me to close ''find my iPhone'' and i tried severial times to do that but it didn't work..so i decided to delete it from iCloud, and delete everything.. And after that i turned it on DFU mode to restore it.
It starts fine with '' connect to iTunes'' and i did that, so it can restore its original settings, but when the load bar on my iPhone screen reach to the last, it just doenst move anymore, I've been waiting for hours, but nothing happens..and i've tried many different things, such as restart both mac and iPhone
Everything is up to date (iTunes, and my mac)i tried different computer, a windows and other usb cabel...i also tried Recboot, but nothing has worked.. and now its just stucked in ''connect to iTunes''

I have an icon that looks like a gray envelope with a red circle and a number inside the circle. I can't find out anywhere what this indiciates. It's not my email/sms indicator either. I've had the phone for 2 years now and have never seen this icon before. I've also not installed anything recently.

Short version: How do I "unfreeze" the iPod controls on an iPhone (or iPod classic) when it is plugged into an accessory? The accessory is an Alpine car stereo, though I have seen the controls freeze on boom-box type accessories too.
Long version:
My car has a nice aftermarket Alpine stereo with an iPod connector plug, so I can plug in my iPod and my iPhone in the glove compartment. Sadly, when the iPod/iPhone is plugged in, the screen says "accessory connected" and it doesn't allow me any access to the controls. This is bad. This is bad because the stereo's alphanumeric display shows only 8 characters, and the knob you turn to select things can only go about two clicks per second, meaning it takes about a million years to scroll through any list of songs or artists or playlists. If I did feel the temptation to switch songs while driving (and I'm not saying I do that, it is most often the passenger or I am at a red light) the iPod/iPhone's own controls would be much, much faster and safer than the Alpine's knob and 8-character display.
Even more hilariously, the iPhone has frozen iPod controls (you click the iPod app and it says "accessory connected"), but everything else about the iPhone is accessible. If this was a safety feature, then 1) I would hope the new controls would be safer than the overridden and frozen controls, whereas the new controls are actually much more dangerous and distracting; and 2) It seems pretty unsafe to be able to browse the internet and use the maps app, which are both fully functional while the iPhone is plugged into the car stereo. So yeah, how do I unfreeze the controls? Will jailbreaking do it? Or do I need to jailbreak and then do.

Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue. When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.

About a week ago I did a battery pull on my Curve, the phone "started up" but got stuck on the loading Bar about 70% into the process. My Desktop Manager does not recognize the phone, so unable to do a software update.

I recently got a blackberry torch. I didn't have any problems with it at all until Wednesday and it's still being weird. I will click on something (a picture I want to look at BBM, Facebook, contacts list, etc) and it will go to the loading screen and stay there for a good two minutes - sometimes more every time. It makes it impossible for me to do anything. I tried deleting things that I didn't need, and I checked my memory.. it all seems fine. Like I said, it was always fine, I hadn't done a single thing different, and all of a sudden it started doing this.
I also thought it was because I need to do an update, and I checked and there are updates that need to be done, however I just moved and I cannot find the disc that I got when I got my phone anywhere.

Was installing apps from the marketplace while listenting to music via Spotify, suddenly the phone froze and got stuck. after a few tries i managed to restart the phone by holding the powerbutton in for aproximately 10s. now its stuck on the Nokia screen, hard reset didnt work (holding down - vol.down, power and camera button) soft reset didnt work, obviously. what am I suppposed to do now? I only played with it for 30 mins then it died?
edit: it also seems, its not charging via the adapter that came with it? upon additional soft resets holding powerbutton in) it comes up with battery icon with one red brick, then it seems to restart and vibrate, before it gets stuck on nokia screen again. until i reboot it again. will let it stay on the nokia screen for the night, let's see what happens.

I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!

I just updated all the applications and such on my blackberry via blackberry desktop software, and when the phone turned on, it asked me if I wanted to update the email application. I said yes, as I have been having problems with it, and it asked me if I wanted to proceed, even if the update may cause issues with my email. Of course, assuming nothing would happened, I clicked yes, the app was downloaded, and my phone asked if I wanted to restart now or later. I chose now, however, when restarting, the blackberry screen comes up, the little bar fills up to the end with white, but nothing happens afterwards.
I have tried removing the battery several times, connecting it to my laptop, etc. but nothing works! My phone is still stuck

I turned off my blackberry this morning and then removed the battery, replaced the battery and the phone began to reboot. It has been stuck on the screen that says BlackBerry with the loading bar at the bottom about 3/4 of the way loaded for about 45 minutes. I tried rebooting it a few times at first but it kept stopping at the same point in the loading bar, about 3/4 of the way.

I had to restart my Torch 9800 after deleting an application. I pressed "Restart now", it went to the booting/start up screen with the BlackBerry logo and the loading bar at the bottom but then the loading bar froze at the very end.
I tried the ALT + right MAJ + DEL "soft reset" and the battery pull many times but the loading bar kept freezing at the same point everytime. I even removed the battery for a day but nothing changed.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software on my computer recognizes it as a Torch 9800 but is unable to connect to the terminal. I've seen on a forum that you can try to use AppLoader.exe to restore the OS. I'm not sure I did that right though but anyway AppLoader couldn't proceed the step of the connection to my terminal. It recognizes it, asks for the password but can't connect to it. It is kind of as soon as the loading bar freezes, AppLoader is unable to perform anything that could save my Torch.

Earlier today, while my tour was charging it randomly rebooted itself, but it wouldn't boot all the way - the load screen froze about 2/3 of the way through and then didn't do anything (for like 15 minutes) I did both a hard and soft reset, but the phone still won't boot past that point. Because it won't boot, I can't connect it to the computer to reinstall the OS or anything.

It is very strange - the phone blocked and was unresponsive for some time, then I restarted it and it is stuck on the restart loading screen (the black screen with bb logo and the progress bar). If I wait 15 mins it goes to the next white screen with the bb logo but never manages to go any further even after 2 hours waiting.
I tried hard reset(battery pull), then I tried wiping it with JL cmder but it can't connect to the device because it is not loaded. Then I tried the desktop manager to update and install a new os but it just doesn't find any os although I have 2 os versions for bb 9780 installed on my pc.

My phone does not load, and gets stuck at the Sony Ericsson loading screen. Have tried to 'repair my phone' using PC Suite, however my phone is not detected at all by 3 different computers, and is preventing me from repairing. Phone appears to go into flash mode, black screen with green light after connecting while holding back button, but tries to boot a minute later (and failing to do so). Have tried multiple computers, installing/unintalling PC suite, SEUS, safe mode, windows xp (32 and 64 bit), win 7. Tried hard reset that I read about (start phone holding menu, back and power buttons) to no avail. Have tried 3 different usb cables. Why my computer cannot detect my phone? It seems bricked
