Apr 2, 2012is anyones start button really loose? mine rattles alot, and it can be annoying. im in the UK and there is no apple store in my town. what can i do to get this fixed

IPhone :: 4S Home Button Little Loose?
May 10, 2012I bought my black iPhone 4S during the last christmas (on 24 Dec'11). For the past few weeks, the home button has started to feel a little loose. Some times when I click it, I could feel a mild second click. And the button moves very little when I casually take my thumb to it and click it.... Is this normal? Few of my friends also bought iPhone 4s with me. Their home buttons are perfect and they are tight like what they felt when we first opened the new iPhone boxes. Im in India. We don't have any Apple stores here. But we have Apple Authorized Resellers and Service centers.
I was looking through the iPhone support forum for similar issues. Loooks like Apple is replace phones if this effect is not normal. Will I get a replacement from Authorized resellers? There is no way I could buy a new iPhone. And I need to get this fixed. This is really annoying sometimes.

I am using a bumper as of yesterday, maybe I'm just now noticing it.

Jul 30, 2010Got my iPhone 4 yesterday. Noticing something odd about the sleep/wake button. It wiggles very slightly to the left <-> right. I feels slightly loose. It isn't really bothering me, I just want to make sure the button is not like going to fall off lol
The movement is soo slight, but it also causes a very faint click sound if I rotate my iPhone. Edit: Well apparently the noise if the autofocus in the camera. But the original issue remains to be explained.
Everything else on my phone works just fine! Reception is great, screen is beautiful! Everything works! (Except this slightly loose sleep/wake button)

Jun 22, 2012I purchased my iphone about 3 weeks ago and the home button is wiggly (loose). I can move it side to side and hear it clicking while doing so. Are all the At&t models like this? Should i get a replacement?

If you put your finger on the button, you can wiggle it (move it) up or down or side to side.It is not in any danger of breaking off or falling off as I looked at a pic of a droid dissembled and it shows that the button has little tabs on each end like the home button of an iPhone. But it is still very annoying. Is this normal on the Moto Milestone/Droid? or a sign of a future problem. The button works as it should but feels loose.
2. SMS: I bought the Telus version of the Milestone and I have configured it for AT&T and can browse on the internet with 3G, Edge and wifi but I cannot get or send text messages. I get no error but nobody gets them or when friends send me texts I don't get them ether.Is there some sort of configuration I need to do like put AT&T SMS number into it? I am scratching my head on this

Jan 8, 2015I was at a party and used my phone for a few minutes 4 hours ago and there was no problem. Battery was 78%. After a while I realized my phone was not turning on. After coming back home I connected it to the wall charger and the light is blinking red. When I hold the start button there is a red light constantly but it won't turn on. Holding volume up and start button also doesn't work and there is no vibration. I tried the yellow reset button near the SIM tray and that didn't work either. My phone had a 16 GB built in memory which was pretty used up (It kept telling me transfer to SD card since memory was above 75%). I was going to buy a microSD card for it but now this happened. Is there something I can do to fix my phone?Â

Jan 1, 2010So I got this phone for Christmas.And I had a few troubles at first but nothing a quick post on these forums didn't clear up. But a few days have gone by and new problems have developed. Any help would be appreciated.
1) The middle button (used for menu and selection) is not working. But when I turn the phone off for about 5 or 6 minutes and then turn it back on it magically works again for about.5 or 6 minutes.What is the problem and how can this be fixed?
2) when I turn the phone off and back on it makes the sounds of it starting up but the screen just stays black.and then I have to let it sit for (go figure) 5 or 6 minutes before the screen shows. please help with this problem as best you can

just simply boil your bumper case in water for 3mins now put back your snug beautiful case on iphone 4 and enjoy.
EDIT: just a tip. if the case floats, thats the sign remove it.

When I shook the phone,I could clearly hear something rattle inside.I kept shaking it to see if I could figure out what was loose checked all the buttons and didn't seem to be them.Then I noticed after a little shaking it said "NO SIM" so I thought this must be it.I took the sim card out and shook again and it still rattled so it doesn't seem to be the sim. Everything seems to be working fine.Anyone else seen this?

I need to sync my phone to my restored / rebuilt mac, but the phone will think I am syncing to a brand new computer. How do I prevent loosing the following;

2) Contact's on my phone
3) Calenderon my phone
My iTunes library should be OK, and I'm assuming my app's will be too. If not couldn't I just download the purchases again?

IPhone :: Syncing Apps With New Mac And NOT Loose Their Data?
Jun 26, 2012I bought a new (to me) Macbook Pro running Lion. I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1.1 that I keep backed up to iCloud. With my PC I used to always keep semi-frequent backups to the computer along side the iCloud backups, never can be too careful. Now since most everyting with Lion intergrates and syncs with iCloud I haven't needed to check to sync those in iTunes.
Now to get to my question, for my apps I know I can "transfer purchases" so that my apps show up in my iTunes library, but when I check to sync the apps it completely rearranges them on the little pictures of the screen on computer. Now a long time ago with iOS 4 and my old iPhone 4 when I did this on my new at the time PC it wiped out all the app data and basically reinstalled the apps as brand new apps. I DO NOT want to loose the app data as some of apps like LockBox store critical data that I cannot loose.
Will checking to sync my apps clear the data within the apps? Again I am ONLY concerned about APP DATA ! All other data on the phone has been taken care of and synced with the computer.
