IPhone :: Setup Imessage/facetime For Tmobile Unlocked 4?

I activated my iphone 4 to tmobile from att. Receiving/making call and text works well. But iMessage and Facetime is not working with my phone number, it just sending with my email address!I tried to change the receiving address to phone number but on my phone (setting-message-iMessage section), phone number bar is showing as verifying; same as on Facetime. Also its gray out and not possible to tab though. And finally verifying status changes to error... Even though my phone number seems as correct format with +1-XXX-XXX-XXXX. I have ios5.1 with 4.12.01?

I have a factory unlocked (by AT&T) phone and I'm using it on T-Mobile US and iMessage and FaceTime won't work. iMessages won't send to the email that is supposed to work, and my phone number is greyed out. But they apparently activated (I got a bunch of stupid charges from the international text!) so $$$ is not the problem. Also, it's not jailbroken or anything.

I have an ATT 8520 Curve unlocked to work with a tmobile sim card and have a few questions...Now that's unlocked I cant setup an external email account (hotmail, gmail, etc...) that icon is missing from the setup section. how can I get that feature? can I also use the bbm feature? I added a friend (and vice-versa) but it just stays as pending. is it possible to bbm? for the above 2 do i need to get the bb data plan so they can work? I've read elsewhere that the best way to get the features would be to load the tmobile handheld software. I went to tmobiles site, I enter my ph# - select the 8520 - click on handheld and it takes me to their 'shop for phones' page. I guess they now by the number that i dont currently have a bb. So I tried a friends ph# from tmobile who has a bb and it still took me to the 'shop for phones' page. So I Am hoping it's just a link glitch going on right now. I did download from this forum the 5.0 OS "8520wifiM_PBr5.0.0_rel860_PL5.2.0.47_A5.0.0.509_W ind_Hellas.exe" which obviously is not tmobile. What would loading this different OS allow me to do? Or what features will I have available? and I have lowercase 'edge'.

I am trying to set up iMessage and FaceTime for an iPhone 4. I have created an apple ID and set up the wifi connection but both show " waiting for activation" so when I select "use your apple ID for iMessage" but when I try to sign in it says there is a problem with my Internet connection even thought the Internet is fine for everything else. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I purchased an unlocked 4s to use with my T-Mobile SIM. I had previously been using a 3GS on T-Mobile. Since the update to version 5, apple has removed the settings toggle to disable the 3G radio. This causes a strange issue when 3G is forced to be on, after every call, the radio resets its self, dropping to 1 bar and searching before reconnecting. On version 5.0.1 I was able to jailbreak the phone and install a second party toggle to disable the 3G radio, this restored the normal operation of the phone on the T-Mobile network. But since upgrading to 5.1, I am unable to install this toggle, and it has made the phone really annoying to use. Why has apple removed this toggle? Have they moved it or is there another way to disable it?

I have my FaceTime set up on both devices, wifi on full bars, but it says FaceTime failed when I call. I also call from both devices at once and it makes no difference. I know the information is correct.

My factory unlocked iPhone 4S on T-Mobile cant receive Emoji icons from an ATT iPhone. Instead I see a bunch of weird symbols, but the ATT iPhone can receive emoji's from my phone. Also some of my friends have a verizon iPhone and I can receive their Emoji icons, and they can receive mine. At one point I was able to receive emoji icons from ATT iPhones.

ive been reading about this issue with no results, i have an unlocked bb tour from sprint i wanna use on tmobile, everything works, but it doesnt register on the network, so i can use the bbm, i sent the service books, i did everything, i have the data plan, but is still not registering, any help here?

I am thinking about buying an unlocked Storm 2 off of eBay to put on t-mobile. I have an 8900 and don't want to switch to Verizon. I was wondering if there were any specs I should definitely be looking for before this purchase. Also is anyone having a problem recently with putting this phone on t-mobile?

Ive been tryiong to log into my gmail account and everytime i make an attemp i get the same reply. "UNABLE TO SETUP EMAIL ACCOUNT. PLEASE CHECK YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD". Ive type in my name and password correctly numerous times. Ive even tried 2 different gmail accounts, yet i keep geting the same response. All my other email accounts work find but my gmail doesnt. Has anyone ran into theis problem and solved it?

I am attempting to flash a Samsung T819 unlocked Tmobile branded device. I have acquired the updated firmware for the device and am attempting to use Multi-Loader V 5.40 to flash the firmware. I am unable to force this phone into any sort of boot/recovery mode in order to load the firmware, attempted using OPTI FLASH no success. an user of O2 iphone4 unlocked months ago, and I successfully activated FaceTime days ago. However, In wifi condition, my iphone4 cannot react to the Facetime invitation by Mac or other iphone4 and can not send the invitation as well.

The mobile number entered for facetime and imessage in 'verifying' state for ever. It also charged 3-4 times for international sms but still my mobile number is not activated for imessage and facetime. This service is not available for India.
