I therefore placed my sim card n the phone and it worked fine with accessing wifi only, which is all that I require. I upgraded the software and again it worked ok for approx 12 hours. Now the phone comes up SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED and is permanently saying NO SERVICE. I have put the sim card back in my Nokia phone and it is saying the same. All phones on 02.

I switched iphones today with a friend of mine. I made sure that I had backed up everything to my computer AND iCloud before doing the trade. Did it, everything set up fine. Restored through iTunes and then turned on. I still had my email, texts, call logs, contacts and notes. But all my apps and songs are gone. How do i get them back?

I've just bought a 16gb micro-sd scard by san disk. I've tried inserting it, (with the metal prongs face up as you are looking at the screen). It slides it but doesn't click in place, instead it pops back out unless I close the lid. It's not bringing up any message to say it's detetecting anything either. What's going on?

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. The transfer rate is SO slow and I basically want to fill up the card with music and videos. To put on 10Gb seems like it's gonna take over an hour!! Maybe even two!! Ridiculous!!Would it be possible for me to load up all the music/videos onto the card at my house, then just pop the SD card into his phone with all the media pre-loaded? Or would it not work?
Also, just a side question, but if I fill up the majority of the card (let's say I leave about 1 or 2GB free), would it affect overall general speed of the phone, or is that not affected by the SD capacity?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently inserted a 16GB microSD card in my Bold 9000 and I observed that my BB starts draining its batteries quite fast. There aren't any applications running in the background, I make sure I exit them properly, and I rarely use Wifi or Bluetooth. I am totally lost as to why it is loosing power so fast.
Even after charging the BB to 100% after reboot and allowing it to stand, the battery still drains faster. If I do disable the media card support, everything remains fine and the BB has normal power drain. I don't even use it except for checking my mails.
I lost my phone, an iphone 4S. I have an older 3GS as well as an icloud account that was set up when I bought the new one. How do I do this? When they gave me a new SIM card for my 3GS and reactivated it, the phone was right where it left off when I shut it down and turned on the new one.

Restoring from iCloud backup: I downloaded iTunes, synched my iPhone 4s, and don't see any email, contacts, calendar items, photos, videos, or text messages. The screen does say the last backup to iCloud was minutes ago, but I have no idea how to check iCloud to make sure all my stuff is there before I restore my iPhone. (I need to restore the iPhone because it's having problems and Apple told me to do that through iTunes.) Apple told me I'd see everything in iTunes and could copy the stuff over once the restore is complete, but I just don't see anything in iTunes.

I purchased an iPhone 5S yesterday to upgrade from my 4S. I had everything backed up to iCloud. When I got the new phone, I restored the phone from the prior iCloud backup.
It went mostly smoothly, except it is still going. iCloud says it is still restoring and maybe half of my 1300+ photos are available. One the bottom of photos, it says "Downloading..."
I had to go different places in the past day or so, and I have been in and out of Wi-Fi. Is that the problem? Should it automatically continue to restore when I am back with a Wi-Fi connection? Is there a way to jump start this to make sure it is continuing?Â
