IPhone :: Remove Apps: The "x" In Wiggling App Icons Is Missing?
May 14, 2012I cannot remove apps on my phone. The "x" in wiggling icons is missing. Is this an option that I turned off somewhere?

Nov 19, 2015I booted my phone in safe mode and when I returned into normal mode many of my apps' icons are missing. They are missing both from the home screen as well as the app drawer. They are still installed. I can open them through Google play and I still get notifications. I tried a cache partition wipe with no luck. how to get them back?

Aug 9, 2015After my recent SD card swap, I've run into a problem. I have a few apps that show as not installed, and are no longer on offer at the play store. Unfortunately, the icons for these apps still appear in my app drawer. If I hold one and try do delete it, I'm told that system apps cannot be deleted. Trust me, Cookie Crush is not a system app.
Any tips for getting rid of these icons and cleaning up the app drawer?
BB Tour 9630 :: Apps/icons Missing From Menu?
Jul 17, 2010I just bought a Tour used. I havent activated it yet but through my laptop I installed all my info (contacts etc..) through the desktop manager. The service provider is Sprint. I have noticed that there are some apps/icons missing from the menu. Most importantly there is no web/internet icon/app and no BlackBerry app world icon/app. There are also others missing, Pandora, Sprint Nav, Sprint TV and a few others. These I am pretty sure I can download for free, but what about the web and app world? Why are they missing? Is it because the phone is not activated yet?

Jan 11, 2010I'm a new BB 8330m user (carrier is Sprint).I have an icon for Pocket Express (which came with the phone) on my screen that I can't remove. I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. The icon looks as though it is transparent.

May 19, 2011is anyone having a problem when you plug the usb cable in to charge the phone/sync whether it be wall charger or computer connection, after un-pluging the cable some icons disappear on the home screen just a tool icon is visable? and when you press it message pops up *linked app not installed on phone*? then i have to re-boot twice and the icons and apps on homes screen go back to normal and the app is usable?

Jan 16, 2010First off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?

I have been using the repeats etc so I do know where it is. I just cant access them anymore. This is following yesterday's episode of yahoo mail nightmare. Dec 21, 2015I am using Wanam lite custom rom and for some reason, the arrows indicating that there is a data activity are not showing up. There is also no data icon like 4G/3G/R etc to show that I am connected to the internet.
My data is on as I can browse and internet is working fine but this is important as well. I have tried changing LTE value to 4G in CSC features but that did not work....

I can't use my left "quick access" key but when I type in a contact name everyone is there. Also my camera seems to work. Tho there are NO icons at all, none... I totally broke it!?
The best part I don't have the software at all. I have no idea where the CD is now. There is no back up, I never backed my phone up.

Now I've got one ... it's close to the top, to the right on where of where the symbols show you have messages and/or voicemails. This one looks like a smiley face with a star over the left eye. There's a number 1 next to it. Help please.
