Dell BH-200 Bluetooth Stereo headset with mic doesn't work with new ICS (Android 4.0.4) in my Xperia Neo V after ICS upgrade, I am able to pair it and Phone Media works with it but not Audio, I mean to Say, Unable to answer calls using the headset. It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away

Can someone please explain the details of this phone's 3.5mm audio jack? I read somewhere that you need to use a dongle or something? How does this work? I searched for more details but with no luck. I might buy this phone today.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI had this same issue before sending it in for Nokia repair. For some reason my audio from listening to a earphone does not work right. I get a very low echo sound of the music and I don't get any voice. Podcast, I get silence and don't know why I get this issue. It does not have any water damage and has no scratches. I have screen protector on the front and back. Never had this issue with my HTC HD7. Now I did clean the jack input with a earpick and still the same issue. I don't want to send it in again to Nokia repair because I will be with out a phone for 3 weeks. Very upset and if I can't get it working then Samsung or HTC will be my next Windows phone 8 phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAudio jack on my Tour. I have used the headphones that come with the device, a generic set of ear buds and a car adapter. Never had any problem with any of them until this morning. Plugged in the BB headset while at the gym and they never engaged. Music was playing over internal speaker but could not get it to come through headphones.I switched to the generic set but same thing happened. On the way home, same thing happened with the car adapter. I have tried wiggling the jacks when putting them in, battery pull and making sure everything except defaults are closed with no luck.

But if downgrade back to 4.7. Which is what I would like to do due to all the problems with the leaked version. The head phone jack stops working again.

The receptacle the receives the 3.5mm plug in the side of my Tour has suddenly stopped working. Worked Friday, not yesterday. I have tried the ubiquitous battery pull (several times) but no dice.
Tried it with two different headsets, and those headsets on a different devices, so I am sure it is the receptacle.
I have picked-up an unlocked AT&T Samsung Jack I637 which I am using on Rogers. Even though I subscribe to "call display with name display" my contacts show-up as "unknown caller". When I put my SIM into my Blackjack II, no issues!
