I have an iphone 4s and my best friend has a HTC and her messages have within the last two weeks only been sending averagly about 3 messages and then i get no reply yet they have sent and this also has been happening to messages shes sent to her boyfriend who has and Iphone 4, however this has never happened to her friends with phones that aren't iphones, could this be something to do with the iphone or carrier? software?

Just recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... I havent had a problem replying to messages after people have texted me, its iniating the converstation thats not working.

Most of the text messages i send work fine, but about 10% are never recieved/ will be received days later. I know it's a problem with my phone, not the people i'm sending them to, as it's happened with more than one person on different networks. My phone is on Orange and has the latest software update too?

Everything else is working fine but all day I've had issues texting and making/receiving calls. I've done a soft reset at least 10 times. Will let me then do about 2 texts, then it goes back to sending error. Every time I try to make a call it doesn't even ring, just goes to call fail.

When I back up my Blackberry Bold, the messages being received from an iphone are not saved. These messages are on the phone and I am having to email them to myself at added expense. I am using Elcomsoft Blackberry Backup to view the file.

There is this "download now" button, but nothing happens when I click... Also, I can't send pictures. There's a red X on the left of the message I tried to send. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wife just bought an LG G3, finally upgrading her LG Optimus T. She was having the same issue on her old phone, which is what prompted her to give the thing a decent burial.
The problem is that she's intermittently receiving texts 12 hours or more after they're sent. She's seldom anywhere that there's no signal & her old phone only recently started exhibiting these symptoms.
Her SIM card was upgraded when she got the new phone & I installed and formatted an older Class 10 32 GB SDHC card from my S4 after I replaced it with a 64 GB card.

My fiancee has an iphone and has been trying to send me MMS, and they're not coming through to the Hangouts app. I have auto-retrieve set to ON (even checked auto retrieve on roaming just to make sure). I'm on LTE in NYC (AT&T). I've rebooted the phone, tried deleting the message thread and starting a new one, airplane mode, etc...APN seems fine.
The strange part is this was working just the other day. Now, I'm totally new to Android (coming from an iPhone) so is it possible I changed some setting without knowing what I was doing? Possibly. Do I recall what I did? Nope.
Even stranger: Textra shows the image fine. Hangouts does not.
When I receive pictures via text message, i get 2 options, one to open with gallery, or with google photos.... when i open with gallery, the pictures a tiny as hell, and i cant zoom in on them and when i open with google photos they are blurry.
I got it to work once before but i sure don't remember how. I open the pictures with the stock messaging app, handcent, and 8sms and its all the same....
Why can't my girlfriend see the video messages I send her on her phone? I've looked all over for an answer to this question.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9700 with v5.0.0.656 We set up a new chatgroup (with the same 6 members that have used it for the past year - don't ask WHY the previously functioning group was deleted and a new one established!!))Now one of the members does not see my messages, while all the rest CAN see my messages.I can see all the messages (including those from the chap who can't see mine).Everybody else can see both of our messages.When I look at the members, only the chap who is not receiving my messages has a KEY next to his name (what does this mean?)The other phone says that I am "unreachable", but we can communicate via individual bbm's We can both send individual bbm's to each other.We have both upgraded to the latest version of bbm.We have both rebooted.
View 6 Replies View Relatedim having a problem with sending text sms messages. When isend these messages i get a check mark showing they have been sent. Why should i assume otherwise? And then i hear from multiple people that they received them at 4am or the next day or even just 30 minutes later and out of order. I even tested this with a friend sitting side by side. Out of 3 text messages sent, he only got the 2nd one and didnt receive any of the others. I read on another forum that it might be because my sim card might be old? Is this the knly possible explanation? It is probably at least 4-5 yrs old since i just get new phones but keep my sim card.

So, whenever i receive such messages, i will read those and delete immediately. But recently what i observed was if i read message and delete same from my inbox, after some time or so, again i will receive same message. I thought my service provider might be sending such messages so used to ignore those. But, recently, my friend sent me one message. I read that and deleted. To my surprise, after some time, i received same message. When inquired to my friend, found that he has sent that message one's only.

Issue: BBM Messages are not being delivered or received.I can type out the messages and send, but they are not delivered and I am not receiving any bbm messages. I can send the same message 10-15 times and one may be delivered.Text messages work, and my browser is working, both on data and wireless. Was working fine last night, the issue started today. Have performed both soft and hard reboots, no change.
