IPhone :: It Will Not Sync With ITunes On Macbook?
Jun 10, 2012
My old (two weeks old, replacement of an old broken one) iPhone sync'd just fine, but kept going off. The new one will not sync at all, nor will it save my email passwords.
I can't get my can't get my iphone to sync with itunes on my macbook. The Macbook Pro can't see the phone at all. The message on the phone is: Sync will resume when UKD60787-030 is available.
My iPhone will not sync to iTunes and transfer all the music i've downloaded to my iPhone. it does not even recognize that my iPhone exists on my macbook. I have updated my computer and iPhone. turned both devices on and off. unplugged my router and plugged back in. removed 3rd party anti-virus software (as others have mentioned that). i even took it tot he apple store to plug it in to their computers and their computers recognize it.
My Macbook OS X 10.6.8 will not recognize my new iphone 4S - therefore I can't get my itunes library to sync up.I have dowloaded the new version of itunes, restarted the computer, restarted the phone, etc.
I recently purchasd a used Macbook pro and tried to sync my iphone. It does not show up in itunes. How do I get it to show up in itunes so I can sync it?
I just got a new macbook pro and I have mostly made it similar to my old mac (I did it manually cause I didn't want to copy every little thing from the old mac so I didn't use migration assistance except for the applications).Anyways, I even took my old itunes folder from my old computer and replaced it over the current itunes folder. So that made itunes show up exactly like it did on my old computer (kept my playlists that told me when I added a song).
Problem: I just connected my iphone right now just to see what would happen (like would it wipe it clean, look at it as a guest iphone, be able to recognize it).Except, the iphone doesn't recognize it is plugged into a computer (it starts charging but doesn't say syncing or anything) and itunes acts like nothing got plugged in at all. They totally are not making any recognition that they are connected (The iphone is treating the laptop like a plug in the wall charger basically).
How do I get itunes to recognize there is an iphone connected to it?
I just want to add if it helps, I just tried my ipod (though I haven't synced the ipod in a while) and it recognizes it (and it does not recognize it as a new ipod but as what I named it and everything). And my old computer recognizes my iphone fine.
How can I tether via USB my iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.1 to my MacBook with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and iTunes 11.2.2 ? At the same time Personal Hotspot via both WiFi and Bluetooth works perfectly!
I've just bought a new Macbook Pro and I wanted to sync my iPhone 4s to iTunes but it's not connecting. I plugged it in to the laptop and it just says that my phone timed out.
I recently downloaded the app, "Priorities", and love it on my iPhone. However, it won't load onto my MacBook Pro and I would love to have it sync from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro.
We use a macbook pro to sync 4 iphones. How can I find where the backups are located for the contacts on each phone? I cannot locate backup files for the Iphones.
I have an Iphone and my mom just got an Iphone last week, and our stuff on our phones are downloading each others things, so what do I do to make it seperate?
I'm trying to get my iphone 4s and my macbook paired with bluetooth so I can use Itunes Remote. Here's what I'm trying to do, I have a wedding at an apple orchard with no wifi and I want to be able to qeue the music thats on my macbook (connected to Bose speaker system) from my iphone. I figured if it was connected via bluetooth instead of wifi it could still work?Is there another type of remote I could use? Another type of network? A robot I could rent for the day?
I am trying to restore a backup og my iphone 4 from itunes on my macbook, it asks me for a password which I do not recall setting up, is there any way of getting this password.
So My iphone wont connect to my macbook computer at all, like it wont even charge or show up or anything. Im trying to connect it to itunes but it doesnt even show up. Ive tried everything My itunes is all up to date and my iphone is all up to date but it just doesnt recognize it. I know it's a problem with my Iphone 5s because I know my USB works and my connector cord works because I connected my ipod touch and it synced and charged perfectly.
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro (15" 2.5gHz) off a friend and am using it as my primary computer. When using iTunes, I click to sync my calendars with iCal and tell it to sync (along with syncing contacts, notes, apps, etc).Everything syncs perfectly EXCEPT for my calendars, which wipe the contents of my phone and replaces it with whatever is on my MacBook Pro. If there is one event or ten events on the laptop, they transfer onto the iPhone and none of my iPhone events transfer onto the laptop and are lost, so I am left to restore from a back up and try again.
I have tried using both iCal and Entourage. I had this problem once with Outlook on Windows 7 in which I lost all my calendar events but the next sync showed no problems. I have tried this sync on my Mac at least 10 times, trying to choose something different each time, but with no luck.
I have looked into this extensively but cannot find anyone with the same problem as me, let alone a solution. I am using Snow Leopard 10.6.4
Trying to sync contact from Macbook to iPhone, iTunes sync didn't work at all. Each time I hit sync, iPhone still don't have same numbers in contact as Macbook has.
When I connect my iPhone to my new Macbook, it says it's already synced with another iTunes library. I don't want to erase anything, I just want to have my new Macbook to be where I plug my iPhone in from now on.
