IPhone :: Revert The Standard Music App Back To The Previous Version?
Apr 25, 2012I link my iPhone 4 to my HD radio in my vehicle all the time to listen to my song library or to other audio such as Pandora or iTunesU. An update for the standard iPhone music app loaded recently, and my radio is no longer able to communicate with my iPhone. Could the music app update have caused this? If so, is it possible to revert back to the previous version?
I have linked other devices to the radio to rule out the chance that the radio is the problem. I have also done a hard reset on both my iPhone and my radio. Before the update, my radio recognized the iPhone as an iPod.

Jun 10, 2012after updating to the 5 version for my iphone 4 the screen went blank, nothing would work and the itunes said error. tried again and same thing happened. couldn't bring my phone back to life so did a restore on it. that worked but lost everything and the itunes said if you do a restore it will bring back the contacts on it etc but no. All the apps have gone, my contacts, notebook etc.I have tried syncing back to the itunes to pick up the music again and it will only do 1 song, then says there is an error and won't upload anymore, it just freezes. I have deleted icloud thinking that might be the problem as it was updated and was added. but no change.

I've been getting fake notifications like crazy. for example, I'll get a pop-up notification that so-so (someone I don't have as a friend) sent you a message when I click on view and the app takes me to my facebook page theirs no message. Actually whenever I get one of these the badge on the facebook icon does not update. I just get the pop-up and that will also show on my lockscreen info.

I have decided to keep all his current Apps on the phone, but have run into some difficulties when I am notified that there are updates to Apps that are on the iPhone. When I attempt to Update, the iPhone requests the Password to his account. The iPhone lists his User id. My Son updated the Apple ID/Password to the ID I use. Is this change allowed and am I doing this correctly?

Jan 6, 2010Both PC Suite and Ovi were working perfectly until I updated my Ovi to the latest version early this week. Now, whenever I start Ovi, it will crash after 15-20sec if my 5800 is connected ( either bluetooth or USB ). If the phone is not connected, Ovi will stay without any issue. Btw, PC Suite is working fine. Here is the error message pop-up on the screen when Ovi crashed.

iii) Format and reinstall Windows 7 ( Yes, I did !!! ) , re-download and reinstall Ovi Suite : Failed to fix
I strongly believe this error is caused by the latest version of Ovi Suite, as i have another laptop which running with the older version of Ovi Suite works perfectly with my 5800. I have uninstall the Ovi Suite, I will only try it again when next release is available.

Jun 20, 2010I have been using Nokia maps on my E71, and I have updated to the latest version, which deleted the maps present on the phone. I now cannot load any maps onto it. While connected to my PC the maps application says that the maps on my phone are corrupt, but I cannot delete them, or load new ones. I have tried deleting the cities folder, and deleting the qf file, but get the same error. I also reinstalled Ovi suite on my PC, same error. I cannot uninstall the maps app on my phone.

Get latest version from nokia.com/maps". I've downloaded the appropriate file (selected using the tool on the website), but I cannot install version 3.01 as my phone will not install a .sis file. Aug 3, 2010Got a 3G and it's painfully slow on 4 so I'm trying to revert but I aways get some obscure message saying iTunes can't read it... turns out I needed to backup something called SHSH blobs which I learnt about after day late and a dollar short. Is it still possible to downgrade by any other means?Please help... it feels like running Snow Leopard on a G3 ... I'm guessing.. no actual experience of such.
