Jun 10, 2012Is there a way to restrict the number of text messages you can receive in a day from one person? There's someone I work with, I sent a text to them about something they did, and then I got bombarded by over 20 text messages which froze my messaging (on another phone, I just got an iPhone 4s). I can't totally end my relationship with this person, as they are good at their job. I just want to avoid another text message assault if possible.

Jun 9, 2011I downloaded a couple of apps, deleted a few afterwards, now i get an ad pop up after i hang up from calls. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Do I need to delete all the new apps in order to get rid of this annoying pop up ad? (pop up ad: the screen goes white and the ad is very little in the upper left hand corner.)

Jan 8, 2016I have uninstalled the "SMS + Call Filter" app (had to do this through Storage settings - what's up with that?), and reinstalled the SMS + Call Filter app using the SysAppPusher app. It still fails when I try to use it: "Something went wrong"
If I long-press a number in Call History, it allows me to process that number. However, the number really isn't blocked - it continues to ring.
From reading Windows Central forum posts, as well as other fora, this appears to be a prevalent problem with the 950 and Windows Mobile.

May 6, 2011I want to prevent advertisement calls and some calls from specific numbers in my Milestone 2.1 Update1. I cannot find any options for this in the settings menu of this phone. Hence at present I am saving these numbers to contacts and assign them silent ringtone. But the advertisers use to call from other unassigned numbers. I feel this much awkward and not the apt way. Other phones have a direct settings to bar unwanted calls.

Jun 23, 2014Ok, here is the situation: I updated the software on my iPhone 5 a couple of days ago. After it updated, I noticed that there was a new app on my phone (some game called Cookies and I may have had on my phone in the past), but I couldn't open it because it was darkened, like apps are while they are waiting to be downloaded, except it wasn't downloading. I held down on the app to make it jiggle and the cross sign came up to delete it, so I pressed it and clicked delete but it didn't delete, it just stayed there. I decided to ignore it and just put it in my games folder. Â
Just this morning, I updated another game on my phone called Candy Crush, and this game is kept in the same games folder as the one I put Cookies in. I understand that if you are updating an app that is kept in a folder, the loading circle is displayed on the folder, this was going as normal, until I noticed that Candy Crush had already updated, but the loading circle was still being displayed on the folder, it was frozen at the half way point and has not moved since.Â
So, what I need to know is:
Why hasn't cookies downloaded, and how can I delete it?
How can I get rid of the loading circle displayed on my games folder?Â
I have written these two questions together because I'm wondering if they could be connected?

Apr 1, 2010I have a 3gs. When I want to send an email to my girlfriend I enter the letter "Y", the first letter in her name, and two email addresses pop up. One is hers, the other is my previous girlfriend's which comes up because she had a Yahoo account. I have deleted this email address and all her contact information from every computer and phone I own. Yet, it continues to show up on this iphone when I enter the letter "Y".
How do I get rid of it? Why is it still there? Where is it stored?

Mar 22, 2012I just updated my iPhone to the OS 5.1. When I connected my iPhone to my laptop, it automatically synced a bunch of photos to my iPhone that I didn't want on there. How do I delete them??? My phone wasn't backed up prior to the sync. I've tried everything I can think of! I've downloaded this program called iExplorer, which didn't help me one bit...and there is no delete button anywhere on the phone for the pics I want off! The only delete button that shows up is the one in the Camera Roll album. The ones I want to remove are in separate albums just like on my laptop.

Jul 1, 2014I have an iPhone4 that I recently (finally) updated to 7.1.1. After I did so, I seemed to have some songs on my phone that I didn't sync. Tried various things, didn't seem to work. Finally went to iTunes and synced with no songs selected. There should be nothing on my phone, right? About 24 songs remain. Some of them aren't even in my iTunes library. Nor are they from iCloud (no symbol next to them on the phone, and iCloud not selected under settings).  Swiping to the right on these titles has no effect.Â
How do I get rid of these songs?
