I have a iphone 3GS and a iMac G5 running Tiger OS - how can I get a cloud and update the software? I can't afford to be buying new hardware and it would seem that my iphone is capable of creating and using a cloud. I have some music on the iMac but iTunes won't update to the new software (beyond version 9?) and hence I can't update the iPhone to the latest software.

What's going on? It's never had this issue before. Granted, it is a refurb (3rd one) that has carried with it the software issues of my original 4s (exceedingly annoying; it has all sorts of little annoying issues), but it has never continuously failed to back up.

Yesterday i lost most of my contacts in my phone. I logged onto the cloud today, they weren't there either. I've tried a few online tricks like turning on and off contacts in settings and selecting "back up contacts to phone" no luck.

I gave my old phone to someone in another country but forgot to erase it first. Following the online directions I went into the cloud and initiated erase.
It said 11% complete. Then shortly after that it just said erase initiated - How do you know when it is fully erased?
Is there a prompt or something? Is there a general time it takes to fully erase it?

My computer that I back up my iPhone 4 died before I could get iOS 5 for cloud, now my 32mb phone is full, mostly of precious baby photos and videos. I shattered my iPhone 5s screen (ios8). I backed it up using the HTC account and used dropbox to store all of the information.
I can still see the information in my dropbox account (when I access it through the a desktop browser).
I have downloaded the dropbox app again and it's listed under "Settings > Accounts & Sync"
However now I've completed the backup and am looking to restore the information, I go to:
Settings > Backup & Reset > Restore from HTC Backup > ... But then there are no cloud backups to restore.
I believe in that last menu should be the option to restore my dropbox account.
I've gotten this message a few times. The only choices are "pay for more storage" or "remind me later"
