I downloaded the new update for IOS 5.1 for my iphone 3GS but it accidentally got unplugged so i had to restore it. However when the update finished, it would nto let me restore my phone and sync my previous apps, videos, and music etc. back onto my phone due to "not enough memory" . My iphone is 32Gb and when it was last at its "normal" phase I had 20Gb of memory free to use.

As seen in the creenshot, the "British Englisg" dictionary is stuck on download. I forgot what happened, but I think safari crashed when the dictionary was downloading. When I re-launched safari and try to resume the download, there wasn't any way to do so, as it only shows an inactive download circle, which I cannot do anything about. I tried tapping on it but it doesn't respond. I tried resetting the keyboard dictionary in Settings, yet it's still the same. I tried restarting iPhone but the problem is still there. It looks so awkward lol I don't know what to do with/about it.

I just recently bought a iPhone 5s from radioshack and have not been having any problems the whole week until today, I can't download those apps that have the cloud symbol with arrow facing downward. When I click on the cloud with the arrow facing downward it says, "this item is no longer available".
I downloaded my apps before on a iPod 5g 32gb model and a iPad Mini (Without retina Display) 16gb model.I can download only the apps that I deleted from my iPhone 5s (Yes, they have that cloud with downward arrow symbol.)

However, now I can't download apps from OVI that I have downloaded before the restoration to factory defaults. I can download other apps from OVI fine. View 3 Replies View RelatedI can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?

Why does all the downloaded music go directly to the f: memory card, when downloading music from Ovi Music Store? It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI hit the "Reset All Settings" button on my Jailbroken 3.0 3GS and basically it would never reboot again (the Apple sign would repeatedly keep coming on but never actually reboot). So I put it into DFU mode and had to update it to 3.1.3. Good thing my last sync was September 8th, I'm definitely doing more syncs from now on. Anyways, will I be able to jailbreak again with 3.1.3 on a 3GS? I know the dev team is always coming out with new ones but I just wanted to make sure that this doesn't mean I'll ever be able to jailbreak again (basically I'm stuck without a jailbreak and really want one back, so I'm asking when's possibly the soonest it'll come out)?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI was just sitting here working when all of a sudden my iPhone blinked on with a white screen. Then it sat there for a few seconds on white and then it shut off.
When it came back on again I saw an Apple logo with a progress bar. I thought... okay, my iPhone crashed and now it's starting back up.
However, when it finished starting back up, I have the connect to iTunes and Emergency Call screen!
This SUCKS because I am expecting a call sometime today and I really need my phone to be working.
This just happened a few minutes ago. As some of you know, I was running 2.2.1. iTunes won't respond when I plug my iPhone in.
i was unable to send/receive texts for a little, and my phone said I had almost full 3G. so I restarted my phone and that "sad iPhone" wallpaper came up along with a notification saying how I was in safe mode, etc. so I restarted a few more times and now it's back to normal. should I restore or does this just happen sometimes?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI started out with a search, but wasn't able to find any oters with my issue, so here goes.Since two days ago I left my iphone 4 on the edge of my bed with the charger connected. At that time it was running iOS 5.0. In the morning my phone had shut down and I was unable to boot it up again. I tried holding the "Power" and the "Home" buttons simultaneously to try and reset, but to no avail.I also tried to reconnect it to the charger and let it sit there for a couple of hours. I tried 3 different chargers,still nothing.
After about 5 hours I tried the reset combination again and the phone activated (with a 100% battery status) and I was able to use it normally again, yet after 1 hour it crashed again and wouldn't activate for another couple of hours.I was able to turn it on a third time and quickly connected it to iTunes, which updated it to iOS 5.1. Sadly, it died again after an hour and now I'm unable to boot it anymore, no matter how long I wait.I know it isn't the battery seeing before the issue started it would easily go for 2-3 days. The Iphone is 14 months old and has never been dropped.

I tried updating software to 5.1 on 4s phone, now cant get phone to work. Asks to unlock sim then gets stuck on a page saying that it is ready to use then apple logo comes on followed by original page with slider stating to slide to configure phone, never ending loop, tried resetting phone - no change. I tried to sync phone with desktop but no change. I don't want to restore factory settings on the sync page because? Will I be able to retrieve backed up data somehow after resetting?
