Mar 29, 2012I've had the 4s since the day it was released and have experienced poor battery life from day 1. I've tried everything and I've loaded both software updates that were supposed to help but have not. Within the first 2 weeks of having it, the genuis bar replaced the phone as a troubleshooting step - same result. The batteries on both phones tested out fine by the genius bar. I've had it back to the store since the replacement and they wiped it and reloaded the software - no difference. I've eliminated all apps, turned off email, turned off all alerts, notifications and location services -- to no avail.

Jun 30, 2010well iPhone 4 backs are extremely easy to take off, unlike previous iphones where you basically need to dissassemble the entire phone starting with the screen, and void warranty to get to the back, the iPhone 4 back comes off by just unscrewing the 2 bottom screws. also Its possible to replace the back cover without voiding warranty, or leaving any evidence it was ever replaced.
If iphone 4s had the capacity laser etched on the back, apple employees would just look at the back of the iPhone to see capacity to know what capacity iPhone they should replace it with (i have seen them do this). Even if they go into settings to check something else, there is still a chance they will not look or forget to look at the capacity in the about section.If the iPhone 4 had the capacity etched on the back cover, a person could have just replaced his 16GB iphone's back cover with a 32GB one bought off ebay or something, ask for a replacement for whatever reason, and there could have been a good chance the "genius" would just look at the back of the phone, see that it is a 32GB unit, and give a 32GB iPhone as a replacement.or they could have decided not to etch the capacity on the back for cosmetic reasons

I have tried restoring the IPhone numerous times and have also deleted all of my text conversations and cleared all whatsapp conversations. I have a 64GB iPhone so space shouldn't really be a problem. I am desperate now as my iPhone is reaching capacity.

I have the N82 and know that all S60v3 UI phones support unlimited sms storage (via an option in the settings to store messages on the memory card). Can I know why this is a spec for the E72? In general, synchronizing contacts between ovi suite and ovi.com is taking ages.
I think reliabiliy and speed of this feature still needs A LOT of improvement...
