"There's a really quick and easy way to extend the amount of time your phonerings for before voicemail kicks in. The most you can extend it to is 30 seconds. All you need to do is follow theseteps:- Tap *#67# into your phone, then press the call/answer key.- Make a note of the number that's displayed, including the + symbol.- Enter the following code:**61*the number you noted down from above**30#Here's an example of how the sequence of numbers might look:**61*+44717941123456**30# This will mean that your phone rings for 30 seconds. BB (RIM) :: Bold 9700 Does Not Catch 4.5 Rings Incoming Call
Jan 21, 2010My BB 9700 doesn't catch the first 4-5 rings of an incoming call. It's so bad that incoming Google Voice calls go straight to Google voicemail. If I call myself, I hear 4-5 rings on the calling side before the BB begins to ring. I've changed the ringer settings from vibrate but this seems to do little.
Before this phone I had a Sony Ericcson k850 that had the same problem. Before that I had the SE k550i that did NOT have any problem. If I take that old phone and put my sim card in it now, it still has no ring lag.
So I believe it has something to do with the phone settings within the phone, though this BB is the first phone I bought that came from AT&T (branded probably). Can I change some setting for the phone to ping the towers more often? I don't see anything for slot cycle on the phone...

Dec 10, 2015We've upgraded successfully our two US Moto X Pure Edition devices to Marshmallow yesterday. After upgrade completed, the numbers of calling contact are not being recognized anymore, although these contact exists and saved in android's Contact app, and backed up in Gmail accounts. Also, all incoming and outgoing calls in the call log are not recognized, although they were recognized before the upgrade.
This is very critical for us, since one of the phones is used as a business phone and it's crucial for us to know who's calling.
