Feb 5, 2015I've had my sprint Samsung Galaxy s5 for months now and I love it. Never really any problems. The one thing that is strange that I can't talk on the phone and use my data at the same time. My previous phone htcEvo 4g LTE let me do it. This is was more like a downgrade in that sense. Is this the future of smart phones? Is it only a sprint thing? It really sucks not being able to look stuff up while you're on the phone.

Feb 26, 2010after arguing with sprint for hours and trying to "legally" get PAM added to my account with no avail, i got tired of arguing and hung up and decided to see if i could get around it on a BB while still having a decent plan.well you can.
These instructions are at your own risk, and while i was able to do it to both a curve and a pearl, and im assuming since all BB's are about the same it should work on the tour and 8830, it's at your own risk.
I am not posting this from my normal username, as it's a little risky for me to do so so please know that i've had plenty of posts on here and been around since '04 Ok so here goes.Step 1: Install QPST 2.7 build 215 (this is very important, no other one will work, find it yourself )
Step 2: Obtain your MSL/SPC from Sprint (if you dont already have it)Step 3: Get your PowerVision Username (if you dont know it, you can do ##xxxxxx and press call from the homescreen x=msl/spc, it's the [URL] in the list)Step 4: Start BBDM and QPST Configuration at the same time, then once you add the port to QPST, selct "Service Programming" from the drop down menu.
Step 5: Select your phone in the list, dont worry it will act like it doesnt know the chipset model, select SURF6300 BB from the list and say OK
Step 6: go to the MIP tab Step 7: Create a new MIP profile that looks just like this (except in the NAI and Tethered NAI, you'll enter your PV username) -- once you're done you will have two profiles, the first one im assuming is for provisioning and i wouldnt mess with it.
Step 8: click "OK" then "write to phone", it will give an error about the model changing on com X, do you want to close the connection?, say NO it will write anyway, then you will get another error about the phone not responding.. that's because it rebooted.Step 9: once the phone reboots, create a manual DUN connection (i assume if you're on here and understand how to use PST you can make a DUN connection ) with the connection as follows:

Jun 27, 2010I just bought a 5130 and I think to haveproperly sett it for the WAP connection, since my provider offers free connections to me.The problem - for a newby like me - that I'm not able to surf by WAP. Infact in my options menu I can't see a "WAP connection menu" to start from.The one way to surf the Net I found is by the "Internet menu". From that menu I can surf fine, but it's not free (as I learnt after my credit went down): I think that it makes me surf by "web connection", that is not *free* for me!
More informations:
I first created manually a "point of access" (as someone adviced to me) with the WAP-data of my provider; but I couldn't find the fields to fill with the home page, the DNS etc.;there I found the way to receive a SMS from mi provider that should have set automatically my phone; but after received it, nothing has changed.

Apr 29, 2012I am using a new I phone 4s on Straight Talk and I have only 1 to 2 bars maximum anywhere I go and then it will have no service at all.I was a previous verizon customer and had 4 to 5 sitting in my home now I have 1 or 2 and if I walk around sometimes goes to no service at all. Verizon did not have service everywhere I went but that was in hilly areas as I live in central Illinois and have talked to others with AT&T and they are getting better service than this as that is what towers Straight Talk uses. I am getting a Gel bumper cover and have already tried the black tape it did not help. It says I have 4 G sitting in house but cannot make a call and the 4G goes in and out also.

May 20, 2012When I make a call on my iPhone 4 I can't hear the person I'm calling and they can't hear me and there's no static or sound at all. The phone call will connect and the other person will see that they're recieving a call from me. Another common occurance is that then I make a call the speaker phone button will be lit up when I haven't pressed it and it isn't on. Turning that off and on doesn't solve the problem and there isn't any water damage. I reset the phone and got a new sim card and that hasn't solved the situation. Multiple technicians have opened the phone and can't solve the problem.
