I can't send any picture texts at all.. only if it's to someone that has an I Phone and it's on Imessage.. The little camera doesn't light up nor if I go into my picture and try and send one will it work
Got my new N900 2 days ago, I can not seem to send pictures via text / mms like i have always been able to. I take a picture & then look at the options at the bottom of the screen i see: Rotate, Crop, Edit Tags, Share, Delete
I select Share & only get 3 options: Send Via BlueTooth, Send Via Email Share Service
In none of these options can I find away to text a picture to someone. What Am i doing wrong??I have updaed my phone to latest firmware hoping this might help.. but no
My iPhone won't let me send texts to someone who used to have an iPhone but doesn't anymore. I can receive texts from them but can't send them texts. Says its an invalid number.
When I send a picture through iMessage, sometimes it takes up to 3-4 minutes to send. Sometimes when I text using MMS/iMessage, it takes a minute or so for the sending bar to make the swoosh noise. Kind of weird it takes that long to send a message, and it's not all the time. Is this normal? Any help would be great.
I haqve just moved to Tenerife and got a movistar sim. I can receive calls and texts but cant send texts. I have tried to resend the service books but it wont allow me saying "your device had a problem connecting to the server". When i try send a text it says "requested facility not implented". What do I do?
When I send a text from work to my wife from my iphone 4 she receives an email on her iphone 3GS and her ipad 2 from <my phone number>@media messaging.o2.co.uk. The email says 'Here's a picture message you've been sent from <my phone number>. The message has no other content even though it is indicated that there is an attachment.
Is this a problem with my network provider or are there some settings which need changing?
I can send iMessages from my iPhone 4s, but not texts. The blue ones send fine, but the green ones just fail and display the red exclamation mark. I don't have an iPad, so don't really have any need for the iMessages, but I need the text to work!
I have an iPhone 3GS, and since I upgraded to iOS5 it won't send text messages! I have plenty of service, but I can't send texts. The bar will get close to the end, but never say "message sent". I've rebooted and reset everything already multiple times and it STILL won't work. I turned off my 3G and it STILL won't work. It never did this until I upgraded the software.
4s will not send texts to non-4s users and it will only send texts to other iPhone users if iMessage is turned on, otherwise it doesn't send texts at all. How do I fix this? How did you remedy it?
I keep getting the above message whenever I get a picture text. When I hit download now, a small screen comes up saying retrieving content. Then nothing happens... I am new to the BlackBerry and I am just not sure.
My mother has a new iPhone 4s and 2wks ago stopped receiving texts from my android phone. Both of us on AT&T...have since installed the new iOS on her 4s, no change. Power cycling, no change.
I have restored my iPhone in both standard and DFU mode while setting up a new iPhone everytime still no luck. I have tried the sim card in another iPhone and the sim card works perfectly fine.
I have full bars, on t-mobile which the phone is locked to.
The mobile internet works absolutely fine. When i try ringing 150 it disconnects straight away saying "call ended" I have not tried another sim card in the phone.
Often when I text somone ONE message that is under the 160 character limit, the iPhone takes it and sends it in two messages. Why does it do this? Is there anyway I can make it stop. It's frustrating because all the people I text always get two messages from me instead of just one.
I'm using an iPhone 6+, a Macbook Pro with retina display and an iPad 4th gen. I got the texting on the mac set up once the updates came out and it worked beautifully. A week ago, all I did was change the password to my apple id, logged back in and now I can't text from my macbook or my iPad. I've logged out and back in a million times, changed my network settings, double checked I'm logged in on all devices, I've used both my original apple id with my @yahoo account and with my @icloud (honesty, I don't even know where the @icloud one comes from, I only use my @yahoo to sign in), and there's just nothing. I'm hoping theres something I can do besides a factory reset on both.
Info: MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
I got the iPhone 5S 16GB less than two weeks ago. I did the update after purchasing and everything has been fine. My internet, apps, texts all stopped working last night. I have restored to factory settings, taken out the SIM card, and wiped the phone clean 3 times. I plan on paying a visit to my carrier today. I have Apple Care and insurance, so if the problem cannot be fixed, I will need them to supply me with a new phone.
Frequently, my texts and imessages won't send, the little sending bar stops a little before the end. So I close my messaging app and reopen it to find all the spaces where my text conversations are now replaced with blank spaces. After a few seconds, the "write new message" window opens, and I am able to choose a contact to send to and type a message but the send button doesn't work.
Closing and reopening the app again makes no change. In addition, photos are also blurred, and completely freeze the screen when I tap them. So far my only temporary solution has been to do a reset by holding the home and power buttons, but it only lasts a short while (10 minutes?) before the above problem repeats itself. I am becoming very tired of restarting my phone, and even after restarting, the conflict is not always resolved. I have thought about getting a new phone, although mine is only a year and a half old, but I fear the problem will carry over onto a new phone if perhaps the issue is too many photos and messages?
