Mar 23, 2012Another discovery about iPhone iOS.. You can't access the missed calls list or call log while your on an active phone call .. Example: you get a phone call from someone .. Then you hang up ... You call his manager and tell him, this someone called me .. The manager requests that someone's phone number .. You multi task iPhone while on the line to find the log list of recent calls Can't access the log list !!! Why??!! Because it's part of the "make a phone call" function and you can't access that because your already making a phone call .. Log list should also be part of the contacts or anywhere we can find the log while on a phone call with anyone !

Apr 14, 2010I have a problem with my recent calls or rather the call log (sorry, but since English is not my mother language I might mix up the terms but let me explain)When I push the green phone button in the main menu I am used to finding a menu where i can see who I last called, who called me and so on. Little green and blue phone symbols next to the names indicate whether a call was incoming or outgoing.This menu does not work somehow. When I press the green button I get some kind of list, which looks pretty much like the one I just described and which always used to be there, but the phone icons and the timestamps are missing! So I cannot see, whether any given call was incoming or outgoing and what time the call was made.Is there any way to fix this?Can I somehow "reassign" the green phone button to my call log? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Aug 4, 2010My wife and I both have Motorola phones on Boost mobile. Mine's the i335, and hers is the i296. We both have an identical issue, which is that missed calls with no caller ID details aren't displayed in the recent calls list -- as soon as the popup showing a missed call has been acknowledged, it's effectively as if the call simply never happened. Every other phone I've ever owned -- including Motorolas -- has shown these calls as "Unknown" in the recent calls list.
Is there something we're missing (perhaps a setting that would fix this issue), or is this the standard behaviour for these models?
IPhone :: Close The Red Eye Edit Feature If Need To Cancel The Edit?
Jun 19, 2012Using iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3GS. I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.

Jul 13, 2010I was lead to believe, from scouring these forums, that double tapping the home button will give a list of recent apps.if I open a multitasking app like the new eBay app (updated today) then close it using the home key and then reopen it it's righ where it left off as it should be.Now if I double tap hold down eBay and delete it from the list the next time I open eBay it opens from scratch.
So the list in the double tap screen is not a list of recent apps but a task manager to what is currently multitasking. For those apps that start from scratch just don't have the multitasking programmer into them.
IPhone :: 4 Has The Best Reception Out Of Any Recent Phone
Jun 29, 2010So I waited patiently in line for my iPhone 4 at my local AT&T store this morning. I paid and then left with my brand new phone. I decided to test out the RF of the phone by driving through weak areas. Places where my 3gs and Bold 9700 lost signal the 4 held on strong (calling and texting too). There were a few places where all phones were lost as far as getting a signal, but the iPhone 4 had usable coverage in places others didn't. Later in the afternoon I left on vacation (at the hotel now) and the iPhone 4 held on where the other phones always lost it (the gaps between two towers). My brother complained he didn't have any signal (LG AT&T phone) and I looked at my iPhone 4 and had 2 bars EDGE. Got to the hotel and only had 2 bars 3G with the iPhone 4. I put my brother's sim in my 3gS and that phone remained at 'No Service'. It won't magically create signal, but IMO the iPhone 4 does an amazing job of finding service and holding on in fringe areas. With all of the "reception" issues, I thought I'd just like to point out not all of us are having the same issues.
*I've used BB 9700, 3GS, and v3xx all within the past 3 months or so.

Mar 17, 2012I updated my iPhone 4 last Sunday and since then, every time I send a text to a non-iMessage user, if the text is over 20 characters, I'm being told that it cuts off the last word and sends it as a second text to my friends. Is anyone else having this trouble? I know it isn't a big issue, but it's annoying to my friends to send two messages and the second only has one word in it. I'm with Sprint, but I can't imagine it being a carrier problem, right?

IPhone 5 Not Restoring From Most Recent Backup
Jun 3, 2014iphone messed up so i backed it up at 1:46am so i could basically restore my phone as new. anyways, tried to restore from my backup at 1:46am and there's not an option to restore it from. it has one from 2am, so i clicked that and i lost everything. not really sure why. also went to itunes>preferences>devices and my backup from 1:46am is there but i'm not sure what i can do about it. viewed it in finder and dragged it to my desktop just incase i need to use it.
