Twice now someone has sent me a picture attached to a text message. When I touch the picture to open it, I csnnot return to Messages. The picture is stuck and if I try to get out of Messages and back in, the picture is the only thing that pops up.

I will be traveling abroad with my new iphone 4S and will need to make calls for reservations during my trip. To prevent abroad fees for voice calls, I am planning on leaving the phone on AIRPLANE MODE 'ON' with WIFI 'ON' (along with CELLULAR DATA 'OFF' just in case) and make my calls with Skype when I find a Wifi. If I understand correctly, it's OK so far...?
However if I received a call, I guess it will go in my voice mail? Will I a receive a Voice Message notification...? and how? Could I listen to the message through wifi or must I turn back the cellular service on (AIRPLANE MODE 'OFF'), which I would not want to do...

I searched on craigslist for a local guy to jailbreak my new one week old 3gs.. Found some dude about 2 miles away, so I drive over and had it jailbroken.I installed some apps, and one of them, I think WINTERBOARD made me roboot after installing.so I did.Now its stuck with the picture of the USB when I turned back on the IPHONE.Can someone please let me know how to get my phone back.I downloaded blackra1n on my macbook.

My husband carried both our phones to be serviced.. It worked for a few hours and stopped again. We found other ways to send pictures through apps but not everyone uses these apps. Sending pictures only works through imessages but then again not everyone on my contact list has it. Anyone got any ideas or fixes to the problem?

Every now and then I have a problem where my iPhone 4 will not send picture messages. I have checked MMS and it is on as well as cellular data and everything else involving sending or revieving data (except for mobile hotspot, but that's irrelevant). It will send pictures via iMessage (I sent a picture to an iTouch)it will not send pictures via text message.it WILL send text messages. turning WiFi off or on does not affect outcome turning MMS off to try to send via iMessage through WiFi results in the picture icon going away I've tried turning the phone on and off. I'm thinking there might be an error with the SIM card, where it may not think I can send picture messages... When sending to someone who has an iPhone, it will not try to send via iMessage it goes straight to text message.nothing works

I noticed that this is only to other iPhone users. I also noted that it does not matter if I am on wifi or cellular network. It just does not want to work. When I send pictures to non iPhone users, they always go through. Â

A few days ago my friend switched from iPhone to Android and since my phone was stuck in using iMessage for her it wouldn't let me send messages to her. I knew this, so turned off iMessage. I turned it back on afterwards. I noticed that after that any picture messages from other people weren't coming through. I went back to iMessage and saw that it was still turned off. I turned it back on and it was stuck in "verifying" and asked me to log into an old gmail account I used for my old iPhone.
I tried loggin in but I guess the password was differnt back then, and something I can't remember. I tried resetting the password and i really just can't get into that old gmail account. So I switched iCloud and iMessage over to my new gmail, no big deal. But now I'm not getting picture messages. People tell me it gives them an error message. Is it still trying to send to the old gmail account info?

I have started to experience a new issue with my iPhone 5 this week. There have been several instances where I have sent a picture message to someone, after I send the photo, i go back to the messaging thread a few moments later and it doesn't show the picture(s)... All types of trouble shooting have been done with my carrier without positive result in resulving the issue. A collegue in my office with iphone he is using with Spring has the same problem. How come other cellphone users are able to exchange photos and those of us with ihone could not? Considering the cost of iphone, I believe it will shameful if could fail to make these device work perfectly. The email sent to me by Apple does not contain anything new other than telling me to back-up, erase the phone contents and relauch it. It was done without any change.
