IPhone :: Why Does My 3gs Drop Calls In The Middle And Freeze With Just The Apple Logo Showing
Mar 15, 2012
Why does my phone drop calls in the middle and freeze with just the apple logo showing? Eventually it corrects and I have to start the call again after a minute or two. Getting more freqent. Phone bought Nov 2011.
I accidentally cancelled my 5.1.1 update and now my screen shows the apple logo and then it turns black and then the logo over and over again I cant turn it on fully.
I just reset my Iphone 4 using "erase all content and settings" option and it goes blank. I connected it to my computer and it only shows the apple logo, this has been going on for several hours now. I tried to hold the power and home button at the same time, the logo just go on and off and when I release the buttons the apple goes back again. The I-tunes doe not recognized my i-phone (it was not listed on the devices).
When I make a phonecall that is longer than 5 minutes, the phone call suddenly stops and the phone appears to be restarting, showing the apple logo. What can I do?
I have a Nexus 5 (USA Google Play Store version) and have had issues with WiFi dropping out for a while now. The WiFi on the phone often freezes. What I mean by freezing is webpage might stop loading half way through or a video might stop streaming and just freezes. To get the WiFi to work again I have to turn WiFi off and then back on again. I have reset the phone and have tried another nexus 5, and still have the same issue. All of the other devices that I have (several computers, tablets, iPhones, an s4, etc) work fine. I have 3 Fritz! box routers that all have the same SSID, password, etc. I am using Verizon Fios.
My phone worked fine this morning. Then all of the sudden when I placed or recieved calls I could not hear anything, the reciever could hear me. I could text, play games, get on the net, etc. Then I noticed I had a software update. So, I connected to itunes and performed a sync. At the end the phone powered off and on. Then itunes stated the sync couldn't be completed. So, I unplugged the phone from the computer, rebooted it, and connected it back to itunes. Now, itunes does not recognize my phone and the phone screen has a USB port and itunes logo on it. What do I do?
I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.
I live in Northern Ireland and am with O2. I have not been able to drop reception where I live or even drop a call in low reception areas that I would have dropped calls using other phones.Be interested to hear how other UK Networks are with this so called iPhone Antenna Issue?
Anyone else have the issues of calls dropping as they are placed and/or "Cannot Connect to the Cellular Data service" when you try open email or Safari?
I was doing a full reset of my phone and like an idiot, I shut the phone off. Now all I get is the Apple logo and can't go any further. What should I do now?
My blackberry torch died last night so I plugged it in all day today I have pulled battery out while still plugged in off and on all day and still not getting it to charge properly. It shows a battery with an x thru the it in the middle of the screen on the display.
Hi, I thought to enter the world of iphone, so i went and brought a iphone 3G, i got it today and jail broke it using jailbreakme.com, Bt a while later i realized i want to remove some things on my iphone so i reset the phone back to factory settings, So i did that and now its stuck in the apple logo, i read online to do a hard reset and press home button to connect to itunes, and i did that, n it wants to update and restore, bt i dont want that, i want to keep my 4.0.1 OS. And no i didnt save my sdsd (whatever its called) i read some ppl post on this, BUT IM SO CONFUSED, can someone please explain to me please,
I've been reading posts of various people with the similar issue but I've started to see a trend. I've jailbroken about 5 phones and recently everyone except mine got stuck on the exact same apple logo of boot.
No new software was installed. The phone was working perfectly fine before it rebooted by itself. Is apple doing anything to cause this. I know this might sound stupid but a pattern gets me to think it might be true.
In my case, my phone was working perfectly and I went into the mail app to check my mail and the phone got blank and came up with the apple logo. To top it off, I don't have the ssh for my phone as It was replaced and apple stopped signing 3.1.2's. Can anyone help please. Is there anything besides restore I can try? I tried putting the phone in DFU and starting it up but it didn't help.
Will it be a scratch magnet like previous iphones or will it be a different design/material because call me OC all u want, i hated that about my 3g and 3gs...my apple on the back getting scratched after wind passing by!
I was wondering if you iphone 4 owners notice little specks on your apple logo if you look at it in a certain angle. It doesn't look like scratches and doesnt seem like it's on the glass itself but on the metal part under the glass. I wanted to be a little less OCD with this phone (on my previous iphone I taped up the apple logo and then put it in a case), but it is just really bothering me. I already did a search and it seems like people are finding dust under their screen but I havent been able to find a thread with people finding specks on their apple logo.
I have an iphone 3gs i bought from ebay nearly a year ago. I bought it jailbroken on IOS 4.1 i think and i have not used it for 3 months. I replaced the battery a week ago. It just shows the apple logo the restarts and keeps doing that forever. I tried turning it of and putting it in dfu mode but keeps doing that. Itunes wont pick it up and as soon as i pull the charger out i turns off and there's no battery.
I have an iPhone 3Gs that is stuck on the apple logo screen. Tried doing all kinds of restores and putting it into DFU mode but iTunes wont recognize it and will not even boot up. Just simply stuck at the apple logo screen until the phone dies.
I didn't jailbreak the device i tried to restore it holding down both buttons diddnt work I olsa tried to restore by plugging it in while holding the home button it didnt work either please help (ios5.1)
