It would be nice to see a "video" icon like the iPod Touch has
Do we really gotta go into "photos" app and have videos bunched up in the clogged up gallery?
It's 4.0 already, I really hope this feature can happen soon!
Wouldn't it be nice to have them separated, especially with HD video recording capabilities these days?
I just got my Nokia Icon a couple months ago and wasn't really having any issues with pictures and videos uploading into skydrive. About a month ago, though, it just stopped working out of the blue. I'm trying to manually upload and it still doesn't work. I use my phone for work and don't have any easy way to transfer those files.

I plugged my iphone 4s into my iMac OS X version 10.5.8 computer - itunes asked to setup as a new iphone or restore? I stupidly chose restore and then force quit a min later. I still was connected by usb but not all my photos and videos were showing! I disconnected my phone and all my photos and videos were gone.Â

I turned my phone off and when i tried to turn it back on the apple logo came on. Then I kept trying and finally it told me to connect to itunes, and then itunes told me i need to restore my phone to use it with itunes. Will i lose all my photos and videos if i restore it? I am having issues uploading pictures and video off my iphone 4s to my PC. When I follow apple's instructions on connecting to the PC, and then finding in 'my computer' and importing photos and video, it searches and says there are 0 files to upload when I actually have 190 pictures and several videos on my phone. According to Apple, we are given 5GB of iCloud storage space, which includes photos and videos on the camera roll. When I restored my phone with an iCloud backup, my camera roll is empty.

Before I did importing (from iPhone to computer), everything was fine - all photos/videos were right there on my iPhone. I simply used "cut" - "paste" from Windows File Explorer, and then I found that all the photos and videos after certain date were all gone. They are not in the iPhone, neither in my computer. Luckily all the recent photos are automatically kept in "Photo Stream", so I managed to save them all to the "Camera Roll" and then I could still import them to the computer. However "Photo Stream" does not save the videos, so now looks like I lost those precious videos forever!!  There is another weird thing: after importing, some video files still remained on my iPhone which are unplayable, and the notification said "the requested URL was not found on this server". To ensure I don't lose anything, I still moved them to the computer. And the result is predictable: those video files cannot be played on the computer either, regardless by which player I am trying. I think I am not the only one here. I see another post iPhone 5 some photos and videos disappeared from a particular photo onwards and three videos left are not able to be played and are saved as 0:00 files but I cannot reply.

I imported some photos/videos from my iPhone onto my iPhoto library. I still have those photos/videos saved on my iPhone but now I want to delete them. If I do, will they still be saved in iPhoto? I'm planning on importing the rest of my photos/videos as well and then deleting them all off my iPhone after (it's taking up a lot of space on my phone). my camera isnt working... I'm able to view all of my past photos and videos fine. But when it comes to take new ones i'm unable to do so.
