Whenever I try & sign in to my account it comes up with " Can't establish a reliable data connection to server", my internet connection is perfect, using the wifi or without
I can't sign into the Market, which I've heard was suppose to update to play store but I can't sign into my google account, with the PC Companion it says I have the latest update already, By the way I'm living in the UK if that helps with anything. Also I have this app called PlayNow...
I got new x10 phone...I signed in gmail given in the phone. When I connect to my pc and chat on gtalk on my computer..I am getting notifications on my phone ...which i donot want.and also..I would like to sign out of gmail and gtalk on my Phone..but I could not find any signout option.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI cannot access 'App Marketplace' from my X10 Mini Pro - everytime I try it asks me to set up a Gmail account which I have ... so I sign in ... and then it comes up with this message:" This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call Customer Care."

View 1 Replies View RelatedShortly after I got my iPhone 4S, I added my gmail account to the mail app (not the gmail app),so that I could read my email on my phone, and specifically not using the Gmail app, but using the email app, and adding the Gmail account as an Exchange Server so that my Google Contacts would sync to the device. It worked for weeks. Now, suddenly, it says wrong password whenever I try to check my email. I have removed it and added it back. I did not change anything on my email account configuration that would cause this.
Since it happened, though, I have removed the account and re-added it. It seems that it would stop me from adding the account if I were using the wrong password, but it lets me add the account with no problem, and only gives the wrong password message after that, when it tries to begin downloading emails.
I have typed in the password enough times today to make sure that I am typing it in correctly. I have been able to log into my gmail account via the web successfully (proving that I do know my own password). I even downloaded and installed the gmail app and was able to use it to get to my email. But that leaves my phone with zero contacts, because I keep all my contacts in Google Contacts, and the Gmail app doesn't seem to add any contacts to the contacts list on the phone. I need it to work the way it was set up & working before today. I don't know if Apple changed something, if Google changed something, or what. I would think that there would be others using this functionality who may be similarly stuck.
So my question is: How can I access my Gmail account from my iphone and have my google contacts brought into the phone's contact list, and constantly synchronized with Google contacts, like I had going before today? With the addition of iCloud, it gets really confusing really quick. The simple solution that I was using was so nice. I will be sad if it is gone for good...

We had some issues with devices last week; we swapped sims chips and did a few other troubleshooting steps. When I got my BB back I received this error when trying to open gmail.I have a BB Bold 9700 with the 6.0.0.448, platform 6.6.0.1,4,8 software installed
A new Blackberry device has been detected. You must move your email account to receive email on this device. To move an email account, you will need to type the email account password. At least one email account must be moved to setup email on this device.
I am not able to configure my gmail account on my BB as it was working fine couple of times back. Recently i have changed my password for my gmail. Tried all the ways but still not able to.
I can configure a new email id and its working without any issues.
Tried to wipe the data and re-configured but still not happening. getting gmail configured on my BB.
I was trying to add my second gmail account to my xperia mini pro. It is running on 2.1 version .As per the instructions in website I tried to add second account from accounts and setting page, after Keying in login name and password , it says it will take 5 minutes but after 2 minutes returns error "can't esablish reliable data connection to server" . My data connection is fine and other apps are able to connect to internet through wi-fi or EDGE without any issue. I tried to write to get in touch with customer care through mail, but unfortunatley no response from them other than auto reply.

After upgrading the phone's firmware to the latest version: 031.023, the email setup crashes by quitting out after typing in the username and password. Sometimes it will say: "detecting account setting" but then it quits and no account is created.

Since downloading the new Nokia Messaging client 10.2.0.4 (Main) on my N97 Mini (11.0.045) it refuses to sync with my gmail account (it worked prior to downloading the new client via Software update on the phone).
I've tried changing the "When to Sync" setting to soonest or 15 mins etc but that makes no difference. If I change the access point it will open a connection (which it wont have done until this point) but still no sync. It never seems to close the connection, unless the phone is rebooted.Anyone have the new messaging client working ?
While trying to setup Gmail inside Email Accounts, I got error message:"Activation request failed. A service connection is unavailable."I am very much sure that my username and password is correct, every time I got the same message. And even I downloaded the Gmail app from [URL] the version is 2.0.6, but it is also not working. It starts and stuck on the loading screen. My wifi connection working fine.

My Photon 4 G does not sync calendar, contact, Gmail with my company Gmail account. I believe that it just stopped syncing last week and I believe that it was following a Motorola update, but cannot say for sure. Under Data Delivery, both Background Data and Data enabled are checked green. However, this is interesting because Email and corporate sync is grayed out on that screen. When I go to Account, checking the sync options is not possible, but I can do a manual sync. Please note, at one time, these options to sync Contacts, Gmail and Calendar were available. I've pulled the batter. I really do not want to reset to factory default. Suggestions? (Please note this is a company Gmail account, not just regular Gmail.)
View 7 Replies View RelatedI don't know if my thread title makes sense but basically what I would like to know is what are the advantages of downloading the Gmail app vs just setting up a Gmail account through my BIS (Email Settings/Add Account)? My main objective here is wireless contacts sync. I have read a lot of negative feedback regarding Gmail on a BlackBerry but I will not really even be using this for email all to often, although I will from time to time.
What I have done is just added my new Gmail account through the native BlackBerry email setup and then downloaded Google Sync. I downloaded the Gmail app but I didn't really like the UI and I like to have all 3 of my email accounts go into the same folder.
m unable to find sign out option in my gmail id.now i want to sign in from my another gmail id. how to do that? also does this phone has the facility of password protected data i.e. password proctected folder?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a brand new BlackBerry user! Got my first ever BlackBerry on Tuesday - and I'm loving it! The 9700 is a beautiful little thing.
But, how do I sign out of Gmail? I'm not sure if staying signed in will abuse my data usage (unlimited with Vodafone, but due to their fair use policy - it's technically 500MB).
I'm just using the 'built in' email tool to get my emails, not sure if there's a dedicated app I should be using, or even if this is considered an app... I know very little about BlackBerry's!
This morning I changed my gmail password from my laptop. This evening I was not able to sign into gmail from my phone, even though I typed in the new password. I tried clearing the cache, data, restore to factory, etc.
