i recently updated my ios to 5.1 in iphone4 but after updated i'm unable to login on twitter...i delete it many times and then again reinstall it bt nothing happend and whenever i go to settings and tap on twitter,iphone got stuck until i press home button...

When restarted my computer and reconnects my iPhone, it now prompts saying that iPhone in recovery mode and I must restore before it can be used with iTunes. I am very sure there's 2 backup copies in my (default designated) computer folder, with one being dated 12Mar (the day of updating). I browsed the computer folder while waiting for the downloads in iTunes.
However the backup folder is now empty!! and I can't restore to any previous backup, and my phone cannot be turn on. The iTunes restore button asked if I wanted to restore to original factory settings. How could this happen?!! My Recycle bin has this item "iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw".
How can I retreive my previous phone backup, or just return to iOS5.0.1 with its data prior to the 5.1?

So for some reason when I try to set up notifications within Twitter's own app, it always gives me an error that it is unable to save my settings. The notifications work fine on my M8 but I've never been able to get them working on my S6 nor was I able to do so on my Note 4. Is that a Samsung issue? I end up missing important info sometimes just because I don't get notified.

I do have the BIS so I'm unsure why it is working, it's been almost thirty hours since i got the new blackberry, and I've tried taking the battery out for a few seconds while it was on but that didn't work either. I'm not sure what to do. It also says that my BlackBerry internet service (BIS) is not connected, (although I do pay for it). How do i get the BIS connected and the BBM working?

I've been using a Curve 8520 for nearly a year now, and have absolutely no problems with it (other than the trackpad not working from time to time). A couple days ago, someone gifted me a Curve 3G 9300, so I transferred all my data over and got it started. As working on social networks is part of my job, the first thing I did is download the Facebook and Twitter apps. Problem is neither of them work. The apps tell me I need a data plan for them to work. I've seen this issue across various boards, but everyone that had it actually didn't have a data plan; I do. I put my SIM back into my 8520, and everything works fine, but when I put it in the 9300, none of the social media apps work
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been having an issue with my twitter push notifications that is pretty maddening. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. For instance they always show in the twitter app when I get a new notification BUT the notification sound does not go off and it does not show in the phones notification bar like it used to (which is the most important part IMO). It does seem to work when certain people at me or DM me. Others it just does what I described above. I've tried revoking access, uninstall/reinstall, I have even tried resetting to the phone to factory settings.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and just recently the internet doesn't work and neither does BBM and any app that needs the internet like Facebook and Twitter, emails and BB App World doesnt work properly too. I also noticed that in the top right hand corner where the coverage bars are it has gprs instead of GPRS as it normally says. I've tried rebooting it at least 10 times now, nothing seems to work!

View 8 Replies View RelatedThe official Twitter app stop working completely? This has happen about 4 times within a month and the only resolution I came up with is to uninstall and reinstall. I tried soft reset but that doesn't work. The app icon is there but it is faded out and "unclickable". It's real frustrating to have to uninstall and reinstall multiple every time this happens.

I've updated my IOS to 5.1 on my iPhone 4 and I'm getting a repeated issue where the screen will randomly go black very quickly as if it's gone to sleep. It happens predominantly whilst using the camera but on occassion whilst using various apps. I've tried touching the screen to 'wake' it but that doesn't work and I can only reactivate the phone by pressing the home button which brings the phone back to the homescreen.The camera also takes a long time to wake. Often it will open and display the closed apperture image for a good few seconds.Is it worth my while downgrading to IOS 5.0 and waiting for a bug fix?

iphone screen shows to connect to itunes, once connected, itunes takes a long time to recognize the phone, Then iphone restarts...Same thing happen everytime...

I have recently updated from a 3GS to a iPhone 4S with IOS5.1.I run my small business using Microsoft Exchange 2003 hosted by my ISP.This arrangement worked fine with the 3GS but I'm having problems with the 4S.When opening mail it is either endlessly "connecting" or "checking for mail".Push mail works OK but often only downloads the header and not the full message - when you open the mail it is always "loading" the rest of the message. I have tried deleting my iCloud account and resetting my networks as recommended by others but neither have solved the problem.
