I have the ios 6 beta on my Iphone 4, and have managed to turn off the vibration for all the apps, but I can'f find where to do it in the aol AIm chat app?
no entry for aim in settings/sounds and no entry for vibrate in aim settings. Maybe I have to wait for aim to update to ios6.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded to the 400.* firmware without major issues. I was pleasently surprised to see the new Chat application. Although not the best it works on my unlimited browsing service where no other IM app will so I am thrilled!
The one issue is that there is no sound or vibration alert for new messages (using Google Talk). I have checked and unchecked the more->options play sound/vibration boxes without effect. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I just saw that a more full AVRCP implementation is part of iOS4.1 beta. This means track skipping will finally be supported. This means you can change tracks using your Bluetooth stereo headphones.
Anyone have the beta installed that can confirm this? Does previous and next track both work now?

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust to let people know that there has been an update on Nokia Communities Beta, and it's fully functional now, all the things that were 'coming soon' have arrived, twitter has the same functionality as Facebook, all the buttons work and share location will work when posting on either site (which means people with N97 can uninstall the feature from the new maps and get about 3meg back) I'd heartily reccommend it to those who have a compatable phone and you can get it here signing in with your nokia account log in http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-messaging-chat. I have an E7 with Symbian Anna. The connection to the OVI Suite via USB an the Syncronisation is no Problem.
But it is ompossible for me to Install an App from the Store via USB and My PC.
A friend just got a T-Mo Curve for free and I've been looking for the latest greatest OS, Beta or otherwise, to help him upgrade to. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It looks like .187 is the latest official build. Any Betas that are better?
