This may have been answered before so sorry if it's a repeat.By accident a while back i came across a short cut to open up the controls to the music player from the lock screen. does anyone know how to do this. does it have something to do with the front button.
View 3 RepliesSo I had a chance to start and really flex the stock music app.This application is a huge improvment over the GB one on the DX.I was able to subscribe to a few podcasts like *** with Marc Maron with no problems.I was notified this morning that a new episode had been downloaded to the RAZR.I can not add my own podcast feeds , which means ones that I have paid subscriptions to will have to find a different application (PodTrapper is what I used on my DX).
The application was able to find my music easily and even downloaded the cover art While playing a song the application with scrob to Last.fm if configured.It will also download the Lyrics for the playing song and show them on the screen.The application will show recommended news, songs that are related.I did not have time to try out Motocast yet and I am hoping to get to it this weekend..While playing either a podcast or music you can have the application running in the background to listen and allows quick access via the notifications bar.If the screen is locked you have quick access to pause/play and skip forward/backwards in your playlist.I found this to work very well.One issue that I did find is that if you are listening to a podcast and you use the application to pause ( not from a lock screen ) it will not pause, but will end the episode and then you must restart and try to move to last place it was playing.A few things that could be added to make this perfect.
1. Allow me to add my own podcast subscriptions along with ones that require authentication
2. Fix the pause button for podcasts
3. Allow me to add Google Music and or Amazon Cloud Music as a music source
So i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

Is there a way to do it now too? I know u can add the page in the lock screen that shows ur music player but its not as convenient as what I want.

I'm in South Africa and my Carrier is Vodacom-SA.Before the upgrade I could access MP3skull.com and BeeMP3 (music DL sites) with no problem and buffering was minimal. Now, after the upgrade, Beemp3 buffers music for eons and MP3skull's home page won't open at all... I haven't found any way to change notification settings (silent/priority/sound) in Xperia Z2 when listening music or if music app is running after listening music. I have tried with different music apps (Walkman, Google Music, Spotify) and problem is present with all music apps. This problem came with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) upgrade. If I want to change notifications, I have to stop the music and close the music app. With KitKat I could just press the power button longer and get the notification settings, but not anymore with Android 5.0.

I use nokia 5230. after I updated from 12.0.089 to 20.0.005. I feel better on dragging menu icon, faster and wider screen web browser, more stable music player. but I found some bugs that:
1. When I opened web browser for 3-4 pages with music player and then went to menu(all programs still opened) screen still show contact bar and menu's icons didn't showed.
2. Programs installer are much time freezes if open after downloaded from web browser immediately.
3. Sometime menu icons don't responded espectially specially the Application icon and Log icon
4. Phone lock slide bar sometime vibrate agaist the slide but sometime not.
It says that I have to charge it total first before showing everything.And it worked a few minutes, and after that, it goes back to zero everything starting about 90% battery and down to 3% battery, and it doesnt showing me nothing under usable numbers.Could this just be a bug in the JB, and theyre fixing it? Ive never had this issue on my last 3GS JB phone.

In earlier IOS versions, I could select the trashcan icon within the email itself OR I could swipe right to left and have the option of "delete". Now a right to left swipe gives me the "More" option and from there I have to select the "Move" option and then the trash. Is there a way to get back to a one-step way of deleting email. I'm using Gmail on an iPhone 6 with IOS 8.1.2.Â

I have a lock code on my iPhone 4 s & since i have just updated the software today to iso 5.1, I cant access the camera via this short cut. The camera icon is on the bottom right hand side (next to (Slide to unlock) but when I press it, it just bounces & does not open the camera. Is this a bug or do I need to configure this somewhere within settings?

The button is there but when i press it the camera will not open. The screen "jumps' a bit and appears to try to open the camera but it won't.

I charged my 3GS iphone last night, unplugged it at 98% and went to bed.woke up less than 3 hours later, found it to be at 53% and was radiating heat. I plugged it back into the charger, which helped it cool down, but this has been a recurring problem.this is happening and whether Apple can replace the battery or any other part?
