I just jailbroke my iPhone 3G to 4.0. I then unlocked it with ultrasn0w. Someone told me earlier that if I used redsn0w then push would work no problem but it seems like it is not working. Is there a push fix for 4.0 yet? I heard there is push doctor. Dunno if that will work.

Tried to install push doctor (as i did with my 3G) in Cydia but it keeps on getting an error and installation could not be completed.
Further, the badges on the foto messenger icon (# of new msgs) would not reset, eg. it stays at the last number of msg received.
my iphone is 4g. due to installing redsnow software it hack . it not connected to itune .give some solution to start it

Well today I went and got my brand new iPhone 3GS. Plugged it in. Followed all the Pwnagetool guides to the T and when I get to the very last part, I got error message 1600, unable to restore. Surfing around I believe that my iPhone can not be jailbroken? Is that the case? iPhone just gets stuck in DFU or recovery mode and have to restore the iPhone with original apple firmware. On the last try I got a completely black screen and the iPhone only came back to life when I restored it with apple software. Any help is appreciated. I think because I have the lastest bootrom or loader I can not jailbreak as Pwnage tool doesnt support it yet. DAMN! I wanted Proswitcher and Backgrounder.

I've been running an iphone 3GS with firmware 3.1.2. jailbroken with blackrain and unlocked for quite a while now and its been working great.Although recently i jailbroke my friends ipod touch with spirit, and seeing how easy this was i decided to give it a go with my phone (i backed up before hand so if things turned sour i could just restore and reload my data).
After i tried this spirit jailbreak, the phone entered recovery mode so it obviously didnt work. But the problem now is that when i try to restore it via itunes to 3.1.2. i get an error message which is something along the lines of "The iPhone could not be restored because the device isnt eligible for the requested build".
So seeing as i couldnt restore it to factory settings this way, i tried re-jailbreaking it using blackra1n which i have used before as mentioned. However when i do this now it seems to look like its working (the guys face comes up) but when it reboots it just slips back into recovery mode and blackrain automatically tries to jailbreak it again. This cycle repeats itself indefinately.
So basically my iphone is in limbo as i can no longer restore it to factory settings due to the firmware error and i cant jailbreak it because blackrain is no longer doing it for me (ive tried re-downloading blackrain, and doing it on a different pc to no avail).
Has anyone had issues with the gmail push today using google sync? My phone keeps asking for my password and I put it in but tells me it is invalid. Now if I use my other gmail account (regular one through the iphone mail) I can get my mail perfectly fine. I tried deleting the account and making a new one but it gives me the same error. Any help would be great.

Don't have any other push apps installed (besides Apple Store app - not sure what would be pushed for that tho).Yes my Notifications is set to ON. I called AT&T today and he reset something (which also cleared my voicemail settings - which I had to setup again).I also restored my phone. No pushes still.

I have been using the phone off and on during this time, in fact about 10 mins in the App store for 10 mins prior surfing around.
Have it setup to my yahoo account, but it only refreshes when I actively open my mail. What am I missing here?
I just got Viber from app-store and when I started it up I was with a misstake say NO to push.Now I cant get it to worj I cant get it to run, When I start it, it says.notifications are off, when I press settings nothing happend or the same with when i press retry.. I'm gonna try to be clear with my problem. I have a Gmail Account working on Microsoft Exchange, for IM messaging I'm using Beejive IM with Push and I'm also using Whatsapp. Before Updating it to iOS 5.1.1 all Push notifications were working flawless,however, after I upgraded it to 5.1.1, I began having troubles. After 1 minute of having the Iphone locked,I don't get any push notification
nor on the email, nor on the Whatsapp, neither on the Beejive. If I unlock it and I re-open one of them, for ex, I go to check my contact list on Beejive, I get all the mails, and all the instant msgs that people had sent to me after I locked my iPhone; it's like, my iPhone was locked for 30 minutes. In those 30 minutes people sent me 4 msgs on whatsapp, 4 msgs on beejive and 4 mails. Once I unlock my iPhone and I go to one of the 3 apps (mail, whatsapp or beejive), I get the 12 items (4 msg from whatsapp, 4 msgs from beejive and 4 mails) at that exactly time. It's crazy, it's like, with this new update push notifications got disabled for every app or what happened to my iPhone on this upgrade? I really need help. WIthout Push, none of them apps works cool for me. I'm using Iphone 4 on a 3G network.

I got the new facebook app with push updates, and the other update that came after (3.1.1?) and it worked well for a while. But now I don't seem to be getting facebook notifications anymore. I still get mobileMe notifications, which I believe come through the same system? Which was the whole point to save battery power?
I've tried turning them on and off in the settings place, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it on my iPhone (not iTunes). When I launched it again, it didn't ask permission to send me notifications, which if I remember it did when I first installed the update? I expected it would have asked as when I uninstalled it it said all the data would be deleted, such as the permission to send notifications?
No idea if any of that's relevant, but I'd quite like to get notifications again if anyone has some tips .Also, there's no way to get notifications from facebook without pestering friends and looking a bit sad asking for comments is there?

My Push seems to have stopped working. If I enter something on my calendar on my computer it doesn't automatically get Pushed to my iPhone. I have the most up-to-date firmware and mobileme setup and have refreshed everything and still no luck. The same seems to be happening with my emails. In order for me to have updated emails on the phone I need to open up the Mail application and only then do I get recent emails.
