May 21, 2012I just got the new Iphone 4s and have downloaded plenty of apps. For some reason my apps began to crash.

Mar 10, 2010So this just started this morning but my iPhone 3G will not launch any apps other than the preloaded apple apps. When I try to launch them they load for a second and then it goes back to the home screen. I havent loaded any new apps so I am not sure what is going on.

Aug 11, 2010Some 3rd party apps are crashing after 1-3 seconds when i launch them. I have tried different versions and they should have iOS4 supported. It happens to specific apps no matter what version i have on them (Camera+, Bejeweled, Fruit Ninja).

Apr 16, 2010I updated my 3g from 3.0 to 3.1.2 and none of my 3rd party apps will open. Ive tried restoring and redownloading the apps and they still crash. I can use my cracked apps but not my apple apps. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Jun 6, 2010I have a 3g and I am JB with rock. Last night my phone would no longer launch any app store apps. All the apps when started immediately crash. All native apps as well as all JB apps work fine. I didnt install any new apps. I did update Rock but I cant remember if it was doing that before or after the Rock update. Any one know how to fix this without a restore. I sync my phone at work and a full restore is a PITA!

Jun 21, 2010While some of this is probably because of it being new software and not every app has been updated for it, but certain apps have been crashing on launch, or with in moments of using it. And using some games have made the game it self very laggy, where as it was fine on 3.0 examples being sonic, and madden 2010. Many of the other tasks on the phone seem quite snappy though.I do have the GM version, but the build is apparently the same.

Jun 3, 2012I am using an iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1.1 and had no problem with it so far, but couple days ago I installed the smartsync app (syncs my contacts with facebook) and since then all of the apps are keep crashing because of the wired memory goes up really high, crashes the phone and do it again. Even if there is no app open, the wired memory goes up really high and crashed the phone and then do it again. So the battery dies really fast, and you cannot really use any app! I deleted the smartsync, I did a restore and a back-up

May 30, 2014I recently bought a new Sony Xperia Z3. The problems I am experiencing are that all sony default apps crashing and some other apps aswell. Apps that have crashed are; the contacts app, the messenger app (not facebook), the homescreen app, the album app, the walkman and the movies app.
When they crash I get a message saying Unfortunately "app name", has stopped. The only way to make the app working again is to reset the phone. This happens quite often which is surprising since the phone is new and its a flagship device.

The second problem I am experiencing is the phone randomly resetting itself, this happens about once per day. I believe the reason for the random resets are the crashing apps. I think that because when I was using my phone all apps suddently crashen, then the phone just reset itself twice before it was usable again.

Oct 16, 2015I recently purchased a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy s6. I was really excited as I had heard nothing but good things.
Unfortunately the reality is very disappointing. My phone restarts itself all the time (6x in the last hour alone) and there are constant 'Unfortunately app x has stopped working' messages (15 in the last hour). The applications that crash are everything from FB to the keyboard to the Play Store, nothing consistent.
I have tried starting in safe mode to check if it was a third party app causing the problem, deleting the app cache, wiping the cache partition, a soft reset, a hard factory reset. Unfortunately nothing works and the problems continue.
I'm running Android version 5.1.1

If I leave the phone sit for awhile, maybe 15 minutes, I will start to get force close messages for almost every app.Messaging (process com.android.mms)Market (process com.android.vending)Facebook (process com.facebook.katana)Google Services Framework (processom.google.process.gapps)The browser crashes so fast, I don't get a chance to push "Force Close"If I restart the phone, I get a trouble free experience for another 10-15 minutes. Now, if I type to fast during a message of any sort, it'll freeze on that screen and I won't be able to do anything until I hit the back button and re enter the message I was writing to finish it. Also, I've noticed that apps crash a lot, and that overall, it is just much slower. I'm very good about closing apps when I'm done with them, so I don't really know where this lag could be from.

Aug 7, 2015I started with an intermittent text receiving issue a couple of days ago. Text will work fine, then they stop. After the that the only way to get them working again is a reboot. Called VZW, they ran tests on their side, etc. I'm thinking this is on the phone side.
This morning, the text app is giving me the "resuming" msg. and also started crashing. Also some other apps are crashing like looking at pictures.
Seems like a hard reset is needed here? I'm out of town, won't be back for 2 weeks. Need the phone to work, so if I hard reset, will I be in a need of a wifi to get the phone operational again?

I tried Amazon Prime Music too - same issue. So, I'm thinking it's the recently-updated Maps app that isn't multitasking well.

all apps keep freezing and crashing (no fancy apps, mostly use it for twitter, facebook etc).phone keeps freezing and being unresponsible on the home screen keep getting an 'emergency calls only' notification, which then clears straight away when i go into notifications.mms photos - both sent and received take up to 5 days to be visible. until then they are just flagged as 'downloading'. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't take 5 days to download a 27kb file.After rebooting, I did have a gmail widget require a forced close immediately. I was never using that widget anyway, and couldn't see it, so I uninstalled it. Now on rebooting I have to force close Google Services Framework. I have decided that looks reasonably important and useful and have declined to uninstall that so far.

Its infuriating, I just get to the end of typing a message and it just goes off and back to the "home" screen. When I go back in to the text that I typed has gone!!! Jun 26, 2012Since I replaced my Iphone 4S - 64 GB for a new one due to broken screen, my Iphone has been crashing with the use of any app, e-mail, and anything else. I spent most of the last weekend doing what Apple asked me to do. Soft reset, hard reset, restore to factory settings, open it in security/recovery mode, and anything else. After all this, I still can not read e-mail, or check facebook, or add new contact, play music over bluetooth, or any other function on Iphone other than place calls.

IPhone :: 4 Still Crashing Since 5.1 Upgrade
Mar 20, 2012This is very annoying. Since 5.1 upgrade, my iPhone 4 shows slowness and it's crashing several time / day. When an app is open, after a couple of minutes, the screen becomes black with a little white spin wheel that stops spinning after a couple of tours then the iPhone freeze.
If I let it like that, It takes about five to ten minutes to come back to the login screen. There's still about 5GB free for 16GB capacity.
Even now, I'm taping this note and the iPhone is so slow, letters appears seconds after as a bunch. I'm not sure, but it look like apps related to network activities seems to crash more often.
