After my nephew played with my phone, now when i turn it on, it requires me to set up my phone. It gives me three options to set up as new iphone, or restore from icloud back up or itune. I had 900 new pictures from my recent travels. Have I lost everything?

I'm not able to see any media or memory card contents (eg. Pictures, songs, voice notes etc) that are saved in my memory card storage. However, when I check the memory status, the card seems occupied with the memory consumed by this files. I do not want to loose these files as they are very important to me. This is indeed very disappointing and soul-crushing.

After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

I have an iPhone that has already been synced with an HP laptop. This PC is now in need of repair but the price of repair was too costly so I bought a MacBook Pro to replace it.I would like to now sync my iPhone with my new MacBook using iTunes but when I attempt this I get a message stating that all the information in my iPhone will be replaced by all the information in iTunes (which is nothing). I cannot afford to lose all the information in my iPhone but also I cannot update my iPhone using iTunes because it has not been paired with my new MacBook and I am told that it can only be paired with one computer at a time. I cannot unpair it with my old PC because my old PC doesn't even boot up anymore.I was told that I could Backup the information in my iPhone by control clicking on the icon in the toolbar to the left of the iTunes screen which would then let me sync safely. I have now done this but I still have nothing to show for this in the iTunes library (no music, photos, notes, contacts etc.) and I have no idea where this backup has been stored. Also in the help menu in iTunes it says that media files such as songs, videos and some photos AREN'T backed up but can be restored by syncing with iTunes (how is this possible to restore something that hasn't been backed up in the first place?).

I Got a new iPhone today and they set it up in the store using my iCloud accout be it hasn't been updated in a few months so the data was out of date. I'm trying to transfer the data from the old phone to the new one using iTunes but I can't figure out how after doing the initial setup? I recently lost my iPhone.It was a first generation that I had managed to hold onto and keep working for years. I left it in the back of a cab and despite all my effort to relocate it, it appears it's gone for good.I had AT&T deactivate it 20 mins after I lost it. I also had the passcode feature active. AT&T has assured me that the combination of the two will pretty much render the phone a paper weight unless whoever found the phone restores it. I've never had to restore the phone, so one question I have is could whoever has my phone gain access to my data after restoring it? Like will iTunes back up the data for them and then allow them to download it again to the phone?Is my data safe? I work for a media organization and I had some very sensitive and valuable data on that phone. The kind of data I could lose my job over if a third party were to somehow access it. Not to mention the countless phone numbers and the huge log of text messages that contained sensitive personal information. Also, please spare me the ridicule of asking why I had so much important information on the phone.I've spent the last week beating myself up over it, and needless to say have learned my lesson. When I restored the phone to the 'most recent' back up, I lost ALL the data on my phone after Nov 20, 2011. All my texts, all the data about my baby that I have been keeping in a baby app - basically any app info. Even my camera roll reverted back to the way it was on Nov 20. (fortunately I had saved my pics to iphoto - so nothing really lost there)
I don't understand where all the info went when I backed up RIGHT before I went to the apple store.
I have looked on my computer and found the back up file, but I don't know what to do with the info in there. Oddly, I can't find a back up for 4/2/12 - the day I did the back up, but there are several back ups in March.. which would be better than the NOV back up.

i had a virus in my computer and thus i had to Format it. During this i lost all the data of Syncs and Apps and stuff. When i click on the "Sync Apps" in my iPhone Tab. The Preview on the right changes from my apps to No Apps except for bookmarks.
