I accidently used blackra1n on a 3.0.1 iPhone 3G and it put the phone in recovery mode and that's all the iPhone is doing now... The phone is NOT recognizing that anything is plugged into it now... Before doing this the computer did recognize the phone. Also, the power button is broken.

my iphone 3gs was previously 3.1.2 firmware and i used my brother laptop that already had blackra1n installed so i used it and it looked fine then it just got bricked? it just doesnt turn on and when i plug it in computer it just says its in recovery mode and needs to be recovered.
so i thought i would just recover it to 3.1.3 but i wanted to avoid that step and go straight to 3.1.2 so that i can instantly jailbreak it correctly this time. i search around Internet and find a download for 3.1.2 firmware and i follow the steps and im supposed to do shift+and click restore on itunes and browse the download all looks swell until when it says preparing for recovery and it just comes with the (1600) error code.
i'm not able to use Recovery Mode on My HTC ONE M7.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI tried to use an app on the google play store with positive reviews (app is called (D855) LG G3 AutoRec-Lollipop), after I rooted the phone I used this app and it turned off my phone and now it won't even power up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wife’s HTC One M8 somehow messed up during her attempt to update to Lollipop. How to restore her phone if I provide enough detail about what happened/current state.
The sequence of events is as such. My wife bought her phone brand new in Budapest, Hungary while on her way to where we live now (New Caledonia, South Pacific). She had the phone unlocked there (at the store in Budapest) and it had worked splendidly here for six months. We never altered the phone in anyway – stock operating system, one or two minor OTA updates to get the phone to Android 4.4.2 and Sense to 5.0 or 6.0 (I think it was) but nothing like rooting or flashing another ROM. She was checking daily to see when Lollipop was available and, while I was away on duty travel unfortunately, it was suddenly there. She did the download, told the phone to go ahead and update and that was where things went completely south.
By the time she emailed me to tell me her phone no longer worked, she had tried several things such as Recovery and Factory reset, etc. If the phone is put into Recovery mode (from the Bootloader screen – the one with three android figures at the bottom) it just cycles non stop from the red triangle to white screens and back to the red triangle and the only thing you can do to then phone is press Volume up and Power button to get the “Android System Recovery” screen. I have tried to execute all five of commands on that screen – “apply from sd card”, “apply from phone storage” … “wipe cache partition” but the end result is always the same – just an endless red triangle to white screen non stop until the battery dies.
On the Android system Recovery screen, there is a consistent error message “Mount SDCARD failed 1 times” (and then … failed 2/3/4/5 times), followed by “Can not mount SD Card (No such file or directory). So, to recap, anything I try to do from the Bootloader screen leads to the Red Triangle/white screen cycling which can be interrupted ONLY by Volume Up/Power buttons (not by Volume Down/Power buttons) which gives the Android System Recovery screen and all of those options also lead to the Red Triangle/White screen loop. Also, and probably very importantly, it doesn’t seem that my computer can “see” the HTC when plugged in .. at least it doesn’t show up in the traditional way it used to when plugged in via USB cable.
I bought my xperia z3 a few months ago and I decided I want to root it. I got as far as unlocking the bootloader but now that I need to put it into recovery mode I found out I can't. I have tried multiple methods, the power off then power on while pressing the volume bottons and other variations of that. I also tried usind android-sdk the "adb reboot recovery", and it took awhile to figure that out and once i got it to work all it did was reboot the device. It did not go into reovery mode, I don't get an LED light when i power the phone on like most of the guides say I should be getting. I'm getting really frustrated, I've searched far and wide on the internet for a similar problem and all of the instances i have found have been on rooted phones so the fix is easy, this phone has never been rooted, only the bootloader has been unlocked.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got the S6 Edge from t-mobile (g925st). I believe the OS crashed, the phone won't boot up. If I turn it on it will display the Samsung galaxy s6 edge logo and reboot again. I tried to go into recovery mode but it just reboots itself. The only mode I can go into is download mode.

I have tried everything from removing battery, removing SD CARD, SIM CARD, connecting to charger, connecting to USB cable on my laptop, holding volume up, home, and power button. My biggest fear is losing all my data. I have 100's of photos of my 3 month old newborn on my phone memory because I was running low on my SD CARD. I can't fathom losing all her newborn pictures.
I broke my phone during flashing a rom, because the rom was faulty (actually my browser crashed during the download and i tried to install half a rom). And the point is I forgot to make a backup and I had moved my previous backups to my pc, because they were so many, and I thought, i'll make anther before flashing but i forgot. No my phone is broken and has no OS. I however can still access recovery mode. MY question is, is it in any way possible to access my phone from my computer during recovery mode.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Z3 dual using PC companian and I am getting worst of worst battery life which lasts hardly 8 hours with a average 2 hours on screen by using only one sim....Don't recommend me to turn off my mobile data, live wallpaper etc etc...I don't need two days of back up as advertise, I only need atleast one day...
And my question is can I downgrade it to KitKat without rooting my phone??? When I used Sony Emma software to connect my phone with PC it showed that your phone is locked and to enable the functions you have to unlock your phone....
And the other doubt is how can I enter into recovery mode to hard reset my phone??? I tried with a lot of button combinations and all are resulted in normal boot up..And tell me any othere ways to regain my battery back up without downgrading if there is any ( even I don't think so )
So I've had lollipop since the Dev preview was released and I had less bugs on the preview than the final release. After side loading lollipop my phone randomly restarts itself and goes into loop. It gets to the point that when I try to get into recovery mode I can't make it to the restart boot loader screen without my phone constantly restarting.
Eventually it stops after a few minutes or up to a few hours. When this cycle occurs and I plug it into the charger the cycle gets even worse. My phone was unusable for over 5 hours yesterday. I've tried restoring it but no luck. What do I do !?
I have an iPhone four for Xmas and its working fine it just goes into recovery mode on rs own as luckily it can be restarted without connecting to iTunes, it's just really annoying having to do this every 2 minutes

My Iphone 4s keeps going into recovery mode. The first time it happened my phone kept shutting on and off again. Then went into Recovery mode. I reset it back to factory settings and it continued to do this. It's happened about 6 or 7 times in the past 2 days. Sometimes I just try turning it back on and it works.I dont know what to do. Its updated, but it keeps going into recovery mode.

how can i get out of the recovery mode?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon I picked up my iPhone 4 to check the time, and the screen was black. I took it inside and hooked it up to my MacBook, and nothing happened, then all of a sudden, it went in to recovery mode. When I got the phone last week, I had to get it out of recovery mode, and had no problem. I've been getting errors 2001 and 2006. I've tried all of the troubleshooting tips online, and nothing is helping. I've tried three different usb cables, in both usb ports. I've also tried using a different computer, and nothing is working.
