i've recorded video but it only let's me send it to Internet (which compresses the heck out of it) send it by email, which compresses the heck out and down res the video of it until it's now longer 720p, or mms it. i want itunes to pull the video off my iphone when it syncs? why the heck does it not do that? how in the world do i get my video on to the computer?

Where does my PC/itunes store the pics and vid on from my iPhone?I haven't sound this file/location, so I thought when I restored/activated iphone 4 it would not have these, but it does, all 1600+.So where are these on my computer?If i delete a pic/vid from my iphone itself, will it delete it from the computer, whereby its gone forever? Or would it add it back on at next sync?Can I individually delete items from the computer and on a sync it will delete them from the phone?Any settings from this? I took a 30 minute video of my sons kindergarten graduation on my iphone 4s and it shows up on the phone in the camera roll. when watching a Internet video today a guy had his icons sorted by categories.the categories were in a semi circle withy only half showing on the screen. he could rotate the semi circle so the missing half appeared.i can't trace the video to find the person who posted the video.does anybody know how i can do that with categories?

When I open the camera app I switch over to video camera and tap the record button but nothing happens. The camera does not record. I do not see a video time counter and I cannot do anything else with the camera. I can't stop the recording because it doesn't think it is recording. Odd. BTW, this was happening before 5.1 update.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI followed the unlocked instruction from AT&T to restore my 3GS iPhone from factory settings. After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.

i have a customer who has a iphone and needs to update to ios 5.1 for a corporate app to work. he does not have personnal machine at home to install itunes on, and the company will not allow itunes to be installed on any of their systems (you cant even run the installer as its blocked).i have my own machine that i connect to their guest wifi but when i try to download the ios 5.1 update, it says 36 hours remaining (i think they are blocking the traffic).is there a way to download the firmware while i have my machine at home and then install when i am back with the user (i only see the user for about 1 hour a week)

i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

I recently updated iTunes. The update went smoothly, but immediately after the update iTunes no longer shows my iPhone4. The diagnostics show that everything is okay with exception of the no iPhone connected error. I've run through all of the Apple helps but nothing has fixed the problem. The same problem occurs on other user profiles on the same computer. The computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 shows the iPhone and I can access it as a camera or drive. I've re-installed the phone USB driver but still no go. I can plug my phone into another computer and the sync works fine.

I have tried syncing my phone to my computer before but it deleted any song and playlist that wasn't in the iTunes on my computer. I downloaded some of my old CD's to itunes and I've noticed that the songs are not downloading to my iphone, even when I go to my phone and music and check the box. I've sync'd like 5 times and nothing.
I've also noticed that some of my CD's that I've downloaded are listed under my other music but its not available to checkmark the box under my music.
I have no idea what's going on. Is is a PC issue? Is it an itunes issue?
