Jul 3, 2012I have one computer in the family and 3 devices - an iPod Touch 4G, and 2 iPhone 4S'. I never sync the iPhones to the computer, only the iPod Touch, and I have 3 separate iTunes libraries for each. So today I tried connecting one of the iPhones to the computer, but a message popped up saying that the device was already synced to another library, and I would have to Erase and Sync. I tried looking for the library I made specifically for that device, but when I opened it, the library was exactly the same as the one I use for my iPod! How do I find the original iTunes library I made for the iPhone?

Jan 20, 2012I was trying to create a sub folder in my address book & now I can't find my original add book. The add book icon is still there, but there are no contacts in it. The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. But if i go to sms/mms & do compose sms it shows "No Addresses"....well I spoke too soon...now if i go to email & type in a letter it don't show a list of ppl that begin with that letter.... I have tried taking the battery out with the phone off & on & it's still the same....

Jun 28, 2012I had a 4gs for about 9 month and it started to drain the batterie in about 50% in 15min and it was overheating and wouldnt take the charge.. it showed that it was charging, but the %ig wasnt going up...
i went to apple and i got a replacement phone last weeknow i have the exact same problem, its not taking any charge, it shows that it is charging, but its not..
i restarted and restored the phone.... what causes the problem?

Quote: The conversation was published Thursday by The Boy Genius Report and linked to by more than three dozen other sites. In it, a writer pretending to be Apple's CEO tries several times to mollify a customer called "Tom" who is furious about the iPhone 4's widely reported signal attenuation problem. In separate e-mail messages Jobs purportedly tells "Tom," who grows angrier with each exchange.Boy Genius Report had originally published and vouched for the emails claiming the exchange was legitimate. Apple PR says the entire conversation was fabricated. The statements originally attributed to Steve Jobs included: Quote:
"No, you are getting all worked up over a few days of rumors. Calm down."
"You are most likely in an area with very low signal strength."
"You may be working from bad data. Not your fault. Stay tuned. We are working on it."
"Retire, relax, enjoy your family. It is just a phone. Not worth it."
Note that even before Apple PR's response, BGR had already retracted the last statement that they had originally attributed to Steve Jobs. The "Retire, relax, enjoy your family. It is just a phone. Not worth it." statement was later attributed to the customer, not Steve Jobs. Though, now it appears the entire exchange was fabricated. Adding further doubt to the motivation behind the original email poster, AppleInsider reports that the emailer had shopped the story around to several sites. Jun 21, 2010I bought a "new" nokia 6500 from ebay and when I received it I realized that there was a space from the keypad to the housing itself. when the keypad light is on you can see light from behind the keypad, I don't think this is an authentic nokia housing. I think the ebay shop switched the housing to a fake ebay housing. Is there any other way to tell if its a fake housing?

From yesterday an 'icon' appeared on my front screen - it is similar in appearance to the twitter icon but blurred, facing the opposite way and has a 1 by the side of it constantly. I have read all my twitter messages, I have carried out the security measures I can think of but that's not to say I have done everything! On my travels through the phone it would appear I did not have encryption enabled or other such settings. I've tried a battery pull which hasn't worked. The Apps I've got loaded are Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Bejeweled & Accuweather.
