I just formatted my PC then re installed itunes but when I try to sycnronise my iphone application they all get lost so how can I add new applications to my phone without loosing the existing ones??

I copied a CD to iTunes. When I try to add the new music to my iPhone iTunes threatens to remove all of the existing music on the iPhone. The same thing happens if I try manual mode.

I previously had an iPhone 4 and 3Gs at the same time, but since then have sold them. Now when I try to sync my apps to iTunes it says that I can't unless I revert my apps to a previous setting that was used for either my iPhone 3gs or iPhone 4 and my other apps will be deleted.. I only use this computer now, but used to use another computer that was a pc. It is quite unstable so it wouldnt' be very easy to get on it grab my old files that I'm sure aren't complete anyways. All I need to do is take everything from this iPhone and back it up on my Macbook Pro.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAnyone going thru this with me? My iphone 4 has been shutting down. I updated the software, which was supposed to address the issue. Didn't help. I have done multiple hard resets and restored the software, losing all my apps ( which really annoys me). I think it is a software issue and something to do with iCloud too. I've noticed that on my home screen, the battery icon is not showing green at all. But if I go to one of the icons, say Messages, then correct battery amount shows up. If I do a restore to the computer, the home screen shows correct battery life. If I restore to iCloud, the battery is showing as dead on the home screen.
Apple would you please fix this??? I'm in New Zealand, I have to pay to have this fixed at a store, and I'm not convinced they will be able to fix it until Apple fixes the bug. But what would you do, people?

I have a new computer and have backed up iPhone and restored it from my computer. However, when I go to sync apps it appears as if it will overwrite my current folder settings. I don't want to have to re-arrange 140 apps into folders again.

Recently I bought a new blackberry torch 9860 and I face a serious problem. All social apps like facebook, viber, watsup, and App world losing wireless connection while device is connected to wireless network and just internet browser is working and has connection. When iIpull out the battery and but it again these apps work for while then losing connection again.

I do this and it worked fine.Afterwards I tried to check the new maps but only a green area appeared. I accessed the sd card in the phone and only get the message "card full" (or something).Now I turned off the cellphone and put the sd card into my pc. But Windows just ask to format the card because it is not formatted.This is really very "unfunny" all data on the card are lost? I just wanted to update the maps. On a other thread I read that only a few maps (maybe not whole europe) can stored on the cards. That ok, but the Ovi software has to take care about this not the user. The sw has to check the free space and what you want to download.If windows says, that I have to format the card than I have a other chance or is there no chance to get the card with the stored data working?

View 5 Replies View RelatedA couple of weeks ago I created a Back-Up & updated the software on my BFs BB Bold 9780, as he was getting a message saying there was no space for new photos when using the Camera, after BF had taken a photo. The photo was not stored, but there seemed to still be quite a bit of space on the Media Card.Following the update BF now gets a message each time he tries to access the Media Gallery or use the Camera, saying the the Media Card has not been formatted & providing a prompt to do so. After you format the Media Card it is possible to then take a photo. Or a couple of photos. If you try to go back to the Camera again or to access the Media Gallery the message comes back saying that the Media Card has not been formatted & provides another prompt to do so. If you follow the prompt again, you have delete all the data on the card. If you do not follow the prompt the Camera or Media Gallery does not open, you just go back to the title screen.
Last night I tried to connect BFs BB 9780 to my Laptop & after what seemed ages it hadn't connected & then when I finally disconnected the USB Cable, I received an error message on my Laptop saying the Media Card had a fatal something & could not be read...
The BB 9780 has suffered no real trauma to speak of, aside from dropped once or twice. The media card looks okay, I have removed it & put it back, still no change.

If i pull out the sdcard from the slot and then insert it back, everything is fine, the problem is only when i boot the phone.
Another strange thing : if i power off my phone and plug it to charge it, it boot instead of showing the battery charging animation.
when I forward an email that contains photos with captions, the photos arrive as a list, not included within the text.How can I send it as the original. I am using K9 email. I have also tried sending it as a text message, and in some cases only the text arrives, and no photos at all.

I can still get into TWRP, but when I click reboot > system , I get a warning message "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
I am using a Mac and have the SDK etc. installed, but I don't even see the device as a USB device in order to try and figure out how to get the system files back on the device.
due to several reasons it seems that I need to format my N5800 XM existing memory card but I have installed quite a lot of applications so recreating them would be quite a pain.The question is: is it possible to do a complete backup from the Nokia Ovi Suite program, format the memory card and then _restore_ all contents including memory card contents so it will be exactly as before?
