When I first got my iPhone it connected to my home wifi fine. Now when my internet is working fine on my PC, as soon as I enable wifi on my iPhone it causes the internet to drop out, and I get a message about there being an IP address conflict. From what I have researched so far, I believe it is because both my wireless router and my iPhone have DHCP enabled, which can often cause IP address conflicts.
How do I disable DHCP on my iPhone so I stop getting IP address conflicts when connecting the iPhone to my home wifi?
My 6P won't connect to my school wifi network using dhcp. I can connect fine to my home network, but the phone gets suck on obtaining ip address for school.
If I manually assign a static ip, the phone connects fine to the school network. I'm running Resurrection Remix.
i'm stumped and looking for some help. So my password in enabled on 9700 but I can't disable it. Disable does not show up in scroll menu and all i can do is enter password and change password.
I cannot disable my 3g on iPhone 5s ios 8.1 as there is no option in settings-->cellular--> cellular data. As a result my cellular data consumption is very high.
"Cellular" has only 2 options ie "Cellular data" and "Enable LTE". Â
I wish i could disable multitasking, I really do not care for it placeholding where i was in an app. In several apps it is more annoying than it is helpful in others. Is there anyway to disable? Will this be a "mod" that jailbreaking could disable?

Is there any way to totally disable the cellular on an iPhone 3GS? I am going to give it to my kids to use with their games and dont want them to dial 911
How do I disable my stolen 3gs? I had "find my iphone" app, but it could not locate the phone bc the SIM card was likely immediatley removed by the thief.
All the texts from my iPhone are suddenly showing up as[URL] rather than my contact name in everyone else's phone. I believe this started when I activated some of the iCloud features. And may also be related to the iOS 5.1 update. Some of my friends are having the same issue. how to stop my texts from showing up this way without deleting my iCloud account?
I am no longer using an iPhone, how do i disable iMessage? I have already reset the iPhone back to factory defaults but when iPhone users text me it goes to iMessage and i do not receive the texts.
how do i block my kid's iphones from accessing any internet browser. i have already turned safari "off" and Internet "off" and password protected restrictions setting. can they access the internet via any apps? seems there is always a work around for them to get to inappropriate sites. i have the age limit set on the device, too.
I'm trying to disable the passcode from an iPhone 4s. I had a work app that required a passcode, but I've removed the app and still can't disable the passcode. I tried restarting the phone, updating the software, and resetting the settings, but no luck.
I'm an avid app-hopper.. on my 32Gb 3GS, I have a tendency to hop from app to app, into safari, then into another app etc. What I'm finding is that after doing this, some titles (usually games such as Airport Mania and Monopoly) start running really slugglishly (and Monopoly starts complaining that it's running out of memory) until I open the taskbar and start closing everything there.
I may have missed it but is there any way to tell which apps are 'running' in the background and which aren;t - or do we assume that all apps in the taskbar are doing so? (although when I have restarted an app from the taskbar, most load up again from scratch).
So I'm just wondering if there's a way to disable this feature so that when I press the Home button, I know the app is actually closing properly?
I've got a couple serious buyers for my iPhone 3g and I'm probably going to sell it today or tomorrow, but how do I disable my iTunes account on my phone? I know they can't download anything without my password, but I still don't like the fact it's still my iTunes account on this phone.
Also, how do I delete all my songs, contacts and apps from the phone (instead of one at a time)? Do I go through iTunes and choose "restore"?
I've never sold an iPhone before, just wanna make sure I don't mess up and leave anything important on it. But I also want to be able to use this information (contacts & apps) on my next iPhone.
I know it can be done on the 3GS, but is it possible on the 4? I'm probably the .001% of people that don't really care about multitasking. I'd like to disable the stock multitasking and install kirikae for launching my apps.
I'd like to send texts to my friend who owns an iPhone, but not on iMessage.(That friend owns an iPhone, but can't connect on 3G. So she gets my texts only when she can connect on wi-fi...)
I know how to enable/disable Siri. And my understanding is that you have to be connected to the internet (either network ex 3G, 4G or WiFi). But my question is do you have to have bluetooth turned on also? When I tried to use Siri on a recent trip it wouldn't work unless I turned on Bluetooth.
