I previously had a gmail account and on that, I obviously sent emails.
This account as now been deleted off my iPhone and the login credentials long forgotten.
Now under my new iCloud and new gmail account (which I created in lieu of my previous gmail), I get the email addresses that I no longer want or use that I sent from my previous and now-deleted account, popping up in my auto-fill as soon as I start to type a few characters in the "To" box.
I'd rather not restore my iPhone to factory settings. I have an iPhone 4 running on the latest software and I also have a PC on windows vista.

Before I installed lollipop I was able to go into the settings on Google and just clear the search history on the search bar. However since installing lollipop I can no longer use the same method and am forced to clear each search subject individually.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have completely removed this incorrect email address (or so I thought) but the ONLY place it pops up is on my iphone with the autofill. I have zero skill at these things - so other than going to an itunes store I tried the icopybot program - but that didn't load correctly and didn't work well

How do you delete an address from autofill in email? I have cleared cache, browser, history, updated contacts in gmail.. etc etc. What is happening is that even though the address is not in my address book, because I've used it on my phone it keeps coming up. I have read through here on how to delete it, but I can not find out how to delete this. I am using iphone 4, newest software, gmail. The address is not in my address book and everything/person I've replied too is saved/keeps coming up.

I have a situation with the email program on my HTC ONE ( m7) . I have changed internet providers, so when i go to send my self an email ( browser links, etc), my two previous accounts appear for the "auto-fill". The same if i type my wife's email address in, also, it pops up with the old email address. I am using the app for OUTLOOK, but it also was doing it for the other program that i had installed. I looked thru my contacts, and there is nothing there with the old email address. It's just a nuisance thing, but other than the mail issue with it showing our old email email address' the phone works fine. How to remove the old email address'.

When selecting a contact to send a message to, the drop down list auto fills with some of my contacts which start with the letters I am keying in, but it does not auto fill with all the relevant contacts, missing out most of the contacts which start with the letter or name I am keying in? E.g if I was sending to a contact called "Paul" Keying in "P" would only bring up a few of the contacts I have starting with "Paul" but no all of them Even if I continue to key in the full name the auto fill does not seem to find the exact same name which is in my contacts Is there any way to turn off this auto fill so you can manually select the contacts I wish to sent the message to?

I use the default email app for my corporate Exchange account. It works great. I also have a Google Apps account for which I only sync Google Drive, so that I have access to my Google Drive at work. However, everyone in my exchange Active Directory has a duplicate account in Google Apps.
In my google apps account settings, I have contacts and Gmail set to never sync. Sync is off. However, whenever I am typing an address in my email app for exchange, all of me Google Apps Active Directory email addresses also come up, which is problematic because they are all duplicates of the exchange email addresses, since the directories are linked.
I was trying to autofill music from my music under Library to my iPhone. I have done this before, but just tonight it has not worked. The message I get is "iTunes cannot add any songs to the iphone "iPhone" because no songs in your iTunes library could be found.

I now have 300+ random email addresses in my contacts list that I cant seem to get rid of. I had a look on desktop manager and all i could do was delete all -therefore including the numbers in my contact list too...obviously i don't want to do this....just want to get rid of all of these email addresses! I have tried deleting the email account and this also doen't work!

View 6 Replies View RelatedOn my Samsung S6 Edge+, the default samsung keyboard autocorrect having issues.....
Problem 1:
Previously I installed multiple languages for auto correct so I could text different folks in different languages, then I decided to uninstall and disable those other languages, but auto correct still has the entire dictionary of foreign languages loaded and there doesn't seem to be an option to remove those other than word by word as I type...
Problem 2:
Since my phone is synced with my gmail, whenever I start typing any words, it will suggest random people's email addresses in the autocorrect which I can't seem to disable. I am not even typing in the "To" field of any email either, just googling things or texting.
I checked my contacts list on gmail but that's empty. It seems to just have memorised every single person I ever emailed even 10 years ago. Short of deleting those old emails, how do I get rid of those email address suggestions from my autocorrect?
Again, there doesn't seem to be an option to turn those email suggestions off and I can't even delete these ones from the autocorrect list - doing so says "are you sure", I confirm, and next time I start typing a few characters, that same email address gets suggested again!
I've spent so long googling and I've made exactly no progress at all...!!- Problem: my blackberry only keeps text messages for about a week before deleting them- Phone type: It is a blackberry Curve 9320. It seems to be on OS 7.1. I got it around the middle of October 2012.- Also worth noting: unlike most people I've found online with this complaint- my call logs aren't being deleted, and are still intact all the way back to the middle of October when I got the phone.- Also, emails aren't deleted after a week, they perhaps linger for as much as a month before vanishing.
(I don't care about those as much because I can access them other ways, whereas texts I can't)According to various googlings and also questions on here, this is most commonly due to lack of memory, therefore they suggest that you check your memory status and then free some up if required.- When I go into device and status information it tells me that my free memory is around 133602256 bytes (which I believe is in the region of 126mb?). Does this count as a lot or a little? Could this be the source of the problem after all?- Similarly when I look in memory use under media it says 'built-in media storage 96% free (30.4mb)' and 'media card storage 95% free (1.7gb)'The other obvious thing which I've checked (and initially thought had solved the problem but it hadn't) was 'Message display and actions' where I've had 'days to keep messages' set as forever but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.Am I missing something really obvious? How can I get it to keep my messages for more than 7 or 8 days?

I have an LG G3 and I got sandisk 128GB card. I have used it and it worked fine. Then suddenly it was dead - no adapter or phone or PC could recognize it.The store replaced it and I started using the new one and the same thing happened. They replaced it again and now I'm afraid that it will happen again.I suspect that it is dead once it gets to 32GB but I cant be sure.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMicrosoft has come up with incentives, like plying developers with free phones and the promise of prime spots in its app store and in Windows Phone advertising. It is even going so far as to finance the development of Windows Phone versions of well-known apps something that app makers estimate would otherwise cost them anywhere from $60,000 to $600,000, depending on the complexity of the app. The tactic underscores the strong positions of Google and Apple, neither of which have to pay developers to make apps. url...
