Apr 12, 2012I previously had a gmail account and on that, I obviously sent emails.
This account as now been deleted off my iPhone and the login credentials long forgotten.
Now under my new iCloud and new gmail account (which I created in lieu of my previous gmail), I get the email addresses that I no longer want or use that I sent from my previous and now-deleted account, popping up in my auto-fill as soon as I start to type a few characters in the "To" box.
I'd rather not restore my iPhone to factory settings. I have an iPhone 4 running on the latest software and I also have a PC on windows vista.

May 5, 2011I recently needed to re-add all of my email accounts, doing it in a hurry I forgot to un-check 'sync contacts' when setting up my hotmail email. I now have 300+ random email addresses in my contacts list that I cant seem to get rid of. I had a look on desktop manager and all i could do was delete all -therefore including the numbers in my contact list too...obviously i don't want to do this....just want to get rid of all of these email addresses! I have tried deleting the email account and this also doen't work!

Apr 22, 2012Earlier I synced Contacts, Keychain and Calender on my Mac, iPhone and MobileMe. I made sure that I selected the option to have the data on the Mac replaced. Calender and Keychain synced correctly, however, Contacts on MobileMe and iPhone were lost and replaced with the Contacts on my Mac - which were none. I have no idea why this happened and I have no back up because I to do an erase and install of Leopard today. It isn't such a disaster as I have most of the contacts saved in other ways. is there any way I can copy or transfer the email addresses in my Mail App to the Contacts App? It is easy to do on received emails, but I can't figure out how to get the 'saved' email address to come up with the option to Create A New or Add To An Existing Contact.

Problem is each time I put in the details it says 'Username is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters.' it's a full email address so is more than 4 characters!

Mar 1, 2010I have a problem with creating new email. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (sam, Sofia etc). For some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. If I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field. The auto suggestion feature works perfectly on my wife's phone (an E72 with the same firmware - 22.007) but on my phone it won't suggest email addresses from my contacts.
Another problem is that my Gmail that is synced to the phone, through the Nokia Messenger server is locked on "hide emails older than 2 weeks". Now, I have hundreds of emails stored on my phone that dates to February 1st - the day I got the Phone! Is there a way to delete these emails automatically, without deleting them on the Gmail account itself? It makes my phone really when going through the emails.
