IPhone :: Bluetooth Feature Not Allowing Connection In Car
Apr 7, 2012
My bluetooth feature on iphone 4 will not allow a connection to the BT in my vehicle. It was working very well - then all of a sudden it's not finding a connection. This began shortly after the last software update. Also my home button has also been having problems which seem to have occurred after the last software update.
I am useing nokia c5-00.02 mobile.I just want to know Is there any way tolock bluetooth feature completely ordisable bluetooth feature. orblock all outgoing data through bluetooth orset password for enabling and disabling bluetooth.set password for sending data via bluetoothi just want this feature because if i last my mobile or if my friends use my mobile they can only view the content and they cant copy the content.
I've had problems connecting to any blue tooth aparatus. I've tried with a couple of headsets and then this week I had a problem connecting to the bluetooth in the Sonata I rented. The bluetooth will connect but almost immediately drop the bluetooth connection.
My E71 used to work fine in car hands free via bluetooth - now it pairs OK but then gives "unable to create bluetooth connection" message. Another E71 works fine.
I did try (twice) to e-mail Nokia care - each time I filled in all details only to get a Gateway timeout message when I tried to send it - and all details wiped out!
Previously I had some other SE phones: K750, W300, W910. All of them had the Bluetooth Remote feature, with which I controlled Winamp on my PC. It was all fine. I like to change of phone, so now I got a W205, but I was very disappointed when I saw that there were no Bluetooth Remote .
So I have few questions: - Why there isn't this feature, considering it is almost the same screen and software than my previous W300? - Will I have this feature if I update my phone's software with the newest version? - Is there any other solution available, such as a Java sofware maybe? I have heard of MobileWitch Bluetooth Remote Control, but I can't get it to work at all.
I can't make any bluetooth connection from my iphone 4s either with my ipad 2 or my macbook pro. I've already tried to pair the devices but it still not working. Do I need any other set up?
How can I rename the bluetooth connections on my iPhone? I have 2 cars with the same handsfree bluetooth systems and they show up with the same name under my iPhone's bluetooth connections. I'd like to rename them so I can identify which car belongs to which connection.
I have established bluetooth recognition on my MacBook Pro and iPhone. But it won't hold the connection for more that a second. The message on my computer says the iphone bluetooth is off or out of range. Neither of these are true. Any thoughts about why bluetooth connection continues to drop?
My iPhone 4 is steadily getting worse about dropping bluetooth connection with my headset. I'm on my second iPhone 4 with this same issue. The symptoms: Bluetooth works great on the iPhone for several months and is fine with different brand headsets, including Samsung and LGAfter several months, the iPhone will start dropping bluetooth connection with the headset when in close proximity and on standby (that is, not actively in a call, just paired and waiting). Once the problem begins, it gets increasingly worse in just a week or two, with the connection dropping and re-establishing multiple times a minute even with the iPhone in my front pocket, less than 3 feet from the headset, and on the same side of my body. The bluetooth connection seems slightly stronger when a call is active. Although, the call participants might sound garbled to each other if there's anything between the phone and headset (like my body). The problem is reproducible even with a brand new headset. The following suggested resolutions did not work for me:Power off/on the iPhoneReset the iPhone (Power + Home Button)Toggle Airplane ModeToggle Bluetooth radioDelete and re-pair the bluetooth device(s) Reset Network Pair a brand-new, out of the box bluetooth headset. With my first iPhone, I was able to demonstrate the problem at the Apple Store. They provided a free replacement iPhone on the spot. Great!
Fast-forward a few months and now, with the second iPhone having the same problem, the Apple Store is less eager to replace the unit. Their back-room diagnostic testing with connection to clock-radio units did not demonsrate the problem (for one thing, that uses the A2DP bluetooth profile, not supported on any of my headsets). They offered to replace the unit again anyway to "make me happy", but I prefer a real solution. The Apple Store rep didn't find any technical bulletins about this problem. After purchasing yet another brand-new headset, I now plan to return this second iPhone to the Apple Store for replacement... but I want to know if I alone have uncovered this particular hardware issue with the iPhone 4.
My iphone establishes a bluetooth connection to both of my cars (Kia and Toyota). It used to work fine. Now, I can search contacts, dial and hang up, but my phone won't go hands-free on either one (and on my phone I only have a "speaker" option, not an "audio source" option during a call). I can also start songs on it from my car as an auxiliary device, but it won't play through the car speakers. My wife's phone works fine in hands-free mode with both cars, so I know it's not the cars that are the problem. My phone is up-to-date with system downloads.
I have iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2 and I'm experiencing a Bluetooth issue with my 2013 BMW 3-series. iOS randomly drops the Bluetooth connection (Hands Free) to my BMW during a phone call. The phone call is not dropped, but it still goes on in the iPhone, but the Bluetooth connection simply drops.Â
I have updated the BMW Connected Driver to the latest version from URL.... and it does..I suspect the issue is at the iOS side, since I'd day that the iOS 7.1 update introduced it and I did not have the issue with iOS 7.0.Â
My iPhone Personal Hotspor was connecting to my iPad and iPad Mini just fine. Then the phone/bluetooth seemed to be searching for those devices when I didn't need them, so I hit "Forget This Device" for both of them. Now the iPhone won't connect with either of them. How do I get my iPhone to recognize these devices again?
There are two apps on my account and I did not buyt them, this is causing a negitive balance on my account, in turn not allowing my updates. I need to know how to get these removed from my account
My phone connects to the Bluetooth in my e46 M3 ('05) fine but as soon as it rings and I answer the call (pressing call button in car) the phone takes over rather than the in-car Bluetooth. It shows a dot next to the Bluetooth in-car when the call comes in on the phone.
Basically, when syncing iTunes tells me that 23+ apps cannot not be synced because I have not authorized my computer. I have authorized, deauthorized, and reauthorized multiple times. Nothing. I really have no issue if the apps dont sync, but because of this, I cannot actually use the apps on my phone.
I used to make my ringtones from the AAC version in itunes but with the new update you cant anymore? Can anybody tell me how I can put ringtones on it now?
I cannot make calls, when i choose a number to call,, it just says "calling so and so..." and then either does that forever or says call failed, even though it says i have full signal.
Whenever I try to call one specific contact, my Iphone rings once, then says that the person I'm trying to call is unavailable. I never blocked the person, and the person never blocked me. My texts go through perfectly fine. I just physically can't call them. And it has nothing to do with being out of service or anything because the person can call me back a second later with no problem. I never had this problem until I got my iphone.
I bought new phone Nokia C7 with Anna software and I have a problem with pairing with my car (Bluetooth device Parrot CK3000 Evo). I think that the problem is with phone, because when I paired devices all things work well, but when I turn off the car (Parrot is switched off) and go away, other phones that I previously used disabled connection and can be used normally. But with this phone I see that for the phone connection still present (?!?) The car symbol on display still shown, and when I try to use the phone, I can make call, other people say that they receive calling , but I can't hear them, and they can't hear me. When I manually disconnect Bluetooth device, phone work normally, but when I am in the car again, two devices doesn't initiate pairing, and again I have to do this manually.
my previous blackberry automatically connected to my Merc car radio as soon as I turned the radio on. My new bold 9900 has to be synced/ paired each time.
I've recently upgrade the software on my BOLD 9700 bundle 2475 (v6.0.0.546, Platform 6.6.0207). Since the upgrade my handset will not connect to my Ford Mondeo car kit. I've deleted the pairing on both handset and car kit a number of times - it works the first time I get in the car but after this I just get an error message "connection failed". The car kit works fine with other members of our family mobile phones - toggling between handset and connecting everytime. I've even tried deleting the other phones from the car kit - still it will not connect. I've even rebooted the car system just in case there was a problem with the carkit. The only way I can get the handset to connect is by switching my phone off and turning it back on once the engine is running. it worked fine prior to the upgrade...
