Has Apple stopped supporting the sync of the Contacts from the iPhone 3G (running 4.2.1) to the iMac's Address Book with Lion (running 10.7.3)? Because when I sync using iTunes 10.6.1 the Address Book in the iMac doesn't get updated and since the iCloud's Contacts depend on what's on OS X's Address Book, that doesn't get updated as well.

When I use iTunes (11.2.2) to back up my iPhone 5c IOS 7.1.1 to my iMac running Snow Leopard (10.6.8), I get a pop up alert saying there is not enough free space on this computer. There's close to 100GB of free space on my hard drive, is this an issue that's related to Snow Leopard? I'd rather not update my OS since I'm running an older version of Logic, which could very well become compromised if I update to Mavericks etc. Is there a folder or a file I can delete to stop this?

I also tried to restore specific items.... the option to restore contacts does not allow me to tick it for restoration. I have a Bold 9700, abt 2.5 yrs old. I would like to import only the Contact List contained in that back up data from the stolen device to a new Curve 8520. However I do not see any method to do that other than to "Import Files" to the new Curve from the backup data via Desk Top Manager from PC. I've turned on photo stream on my iPhone.
I've checked the iPhoto help, and it says to go to turn on photo stream on my iMac. To do that I've got to open system preferences and click iCloud ... only problem is that iCloud isn't in my system preferences list. There's Mobile Me ... but no iCloud.
I'm using Lion (Mac OS X version 10.6.8) - i've just done all the system updates too.
