Just read in another thread that BB is reserving all 4 SKU's for the new phone...so they are reserving white. I doubt they will receive them, but I have no interest in the black phone, so it's worth a shot. Anyone else with reports from their BB trip? What kind of deposit are they asking for?
View 24 RepliesI am going to be out of town when the new iPhone comes out. So I was thinking of pre ordering but having it sent to an ATT store that is in the town I will be at. The first part of my question is, has anyone ever done that that can tell me if it's allowed or causes any problem? The reason I ask is that in reading on the ATT web site, is clearing states that you can pre order online and have it shipped to your *Local* ATT store. But I don't want it shipped to my local store. I want it shipped to an ATT store that is 200 miles from my home town. So I don't know if that will be "IFFY!"
The second part of my question is if I can indeed do that, it also says on the ATT web site that you can pick it up anytime after June 25th which is the day after release. I am OK with that. But it also says, First come first served so the fact that I would be preordering and picking up the next day what does that mean for me? Does pre ordering guarantee that they will hold it for me no matter what time I come in? It's my understanding that you don't actually pay for it until you pick it up so could my phone be sold to someone else?
I am upgrading for the first time with ATT and Iphone. When upgrading, do I have to pay up front on the preorder or will it appear on my ATT bill next month?

It's showing up on all sites, money was authorized, got confirmation emails, so I'm assuming all is good.The only weird thing is when I check my upgrade options, it still says I'm eligible to buy the iPhone for the $199/$299 price, which is awesome, I guess! I looked it up on the apple website, and used *639#. Will my new contract start when I activate the phone, or will I be able to possibly buy a second one and sell it for a nice profit? Anyone else have this happen?

View 23 Replies View RelatedI missed the preorder/reservation time because my bill was overdue. I tried waiting in line at the Apple store by me today but gave up because I had to go to work. I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday (and I'm sure most stores will be out of stock soon anway) and won't be returning until July 5th.
Now my question is, I know I can get my phone by July 14th if I order online now, but what would you say the likelihood is of me being able to go to the store on July 5th and be able to get one? Do you think stores will have received additional inventory by then?
I have heard you need a credit card to pre-order through Apple.com, I know its about a 85% dumb question cause I'm almost sure you can but even though I have a Bank of America Dedit card that's directly tied to my checking account but I can still use it as a Visa card (I always have the option of either or for purchases) since it has the Visa logo.Can I use this card to place my Pre-Order on Apple.com Tuesday morning?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I've noticed a problem with my iPhone 4 draining itself...even when I'm not using the phone at all. A couple of nights ago, I charged my phone up to 100% and left it in standby overnight. I woke up the next morning and the battery was at 53%. Last night, I charged it up to 100% again and did not touch the phone at all until this morning. When I woke up, the battery was at 83% and it reported 19 minutes of usage even though I did not touch the phone at all.
But it doesn't drain itself all the time. Sometimes standby battery life is great but never excellent. Then when I use the phone (safari over 3G or wi-fi, ipod, light gaming, etc.) the battery drains at about 1% per minute. Is this normal?...all of this continues to happen after I've restored and set up as a new phone multiple times. Anyone else having these problems? Think it's a hardware issue? I'm a little jealous of all the other iPhone 4 users out there who report stellar battery life.
In the last couple of days I have stopped receiving delivery reports from my text messages. I have checked the relevant settings and everything seems to be ticked. I am on O2 Ireland. Is there something obvious that I am missing.

My phone is configured to receive delivery reports, i.e options, and Receive Report; however, while I do get a quick notification, it does not save the delivery reports to the delivery reports folder.
Any ideas? Although I have reset the phone, I believe I might need to reinstall/flash the phone completely. Other thoughts?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am using a Curve 8520. Due to an external body defect, I gave my phone to the service centre. They formatted the phone and returned it as a brand new phone. I restored my contacts and settings and am using OS v5.0.0.1036 and BBM version 6.0.0.129 now.
Earlier when I had BBM v. 5.0.0.57 and used to broadcast messages I would delivery reports for each recipient. However now when I broadcast messages to say around 25 people. I receive just 4 or 5 delivery reports. Rest still show the red colour pending icon for days. On confirming some of the others confirm that have received the message, but it does not show the delivery report or the tick mark and "D" sign on my phone.
Apparently nto sure hwo many are receiving my msgs when I broadcast.. I have already rebooted and re-called for the service books.
I'm new here. It seems the best place to find a solution to my problem. I have a Blackberry tour 9630 and I want to disable the SMS Text delivery report but I can't find the option on my blackberry. I mean, there IS NOT the option on my blackberry. I know where it should be (Oprtions- Sms/Text-...) but ther isn't.

However, I have 6.68GB free on the SD card and 33.21Mb free on the phone. Nevertheless I've deleted many messages, especially those with attachments, turn the phone off and on again, but I still get the alert. It doesn't seem to affect my ability to download new messages, but it's annoying. It only happens on one (POP3) account. Do I have to delete and recreate the account?
