I decided to update my iphone to the latest update yesterday and afterwards realised all my contacts had disappeared. My calendar and txt msgs all still there but no contacts. Does anyone know how and if I can get them back. I'm on a PC.

I take a lot of videos of family and friends, and had quite a few of these on my camera roll. Recently, I went to access them, and none of them are on my camera roll. I also can't find them on my PC. I found a few unimportant videos that had downloaded to my PC, but none of the ones I most particularly wanted to keep. All my photos are still on my iPhone and on my PC. I did update my phone to the latest iOS. So I'm thinking that could have had something to do with it. Are these videos lost forever?

View 2 Replies View RelatedBefore the latest update, most of my apps were organized into folders and some of these folders were placed on the home screens. After the updates, some of the folders are "gone" not only from the home screen but from the apps area. I can see the apps if I go into App Manager, but I cannot open them from there. So I currently cannot find any way to open many apps that I previously downloaded (and app manager says I still have). Strangely, this only happened with some apps and folders but not all . What do I need to do to regain access to these apps?

I have downloaded and replaced the existing version. I have re-booted by taking the battery out, etc. The software is in my applications. I have gone through every folder clicking on show all also.

I installed the latest update onto to my iPhone 4s and it has ruined my phone. The battery life has just gone so far down the phone has become virtually unusable. I can no longer receive hotmail on my phone even though it's been on there from day 1. This update has been a disaster for me.

I've lost all my contacts for the last 2 years. Any way to get them back? I saw several questions saying this was caused by iCloud but i had no chance to register if it is not created automatically. i keep not being able to find my contacts when i scroll through the list but they would come up when i search. to try and fix this i went into the menu and changed the sort order to first name first as it was surname first. it has now deleted most of my contacts, leaving mostly only the ones that do not contain phone numbers (i think my gmail ones) and i cant find a way of getting them back. Strangely, at first some still came up when i searched but now (i'm not sure what i did in the process of trying to fix it) now there is definitely nothing there. I had not yet set up icloud so they are not stored there but may be in an old google account from my old phone which isnt showing up even though gmail is set to sync.
